Netflix have done a deal for the Extreme Studios comics. I don't know much, or anything really, about them, but it was apparently later known as Awesome Comics too before closing. They were a studio from Deadpool's Rob Liefield. Alan Moore was involved too for a while. Akiva Goldsman will be setting up a writers room for the series of connected movies. Characters have very 90s names like Bloodstrike, Bloodwulf, Cybrid and Re-Gex, among others.

This time about a new kind of vigilante superhero. Though for now they're not saying what's new about him. Keanu Reeves is in talks to star. Produced by the Russo brothers. It's directed by Dope director Rick Famuyiwa and written by TJ Fixman (AKA Todd Fixman), who has written, er, a bunch of Ratchet & Clank games and its movie, as well as the Resistance 2 game. Though apparently some other movies which haven't been made yet too.

Based on non-fiction book, The Operators, following General Stanley McChrystal in Afghanistan. But it's been turned into more of a satirical film, with Pitt playing General Dan McMahon to avoid issues with McChrystal. It'll also star Tilda Swinton, Will Poulter, Sir Ben Kingsley, Scoot McNairy, Topher Grace, Anthony Michael Hall, Meg Tilly and Alan Ruck. Directed by David Michôd, of Animal Kingdom, which got a very good reception, and The Rover, which also seems to have gone down well. Release on 26 May.

Anyone else been watching the series version of Marky Mark's film, Shooter on Netflix? It's about eight episodes down so far and it isn't bad. Ryan Phillipe is playing the Marky Mark role of the awesomely named Bob-Lee Swagger and certainly worth a look if you enjoyed the original film.

It's a low budget self made film about an American chap, Scott, who is at a Scottish university studying film and Hus pursuit of someone who will look past his lack of melanin. Now I really enjoyed it so I went ti see what he's doing next and he has a kickstarter for finishing funds on his next project. If you're curious, could I recommend you check out Being Ginger and if you like it, maybe consider his kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/scottpharris/an-american-ginger-in-paris-finishing-funds/description there's only five days left hence me starting this thread whereas I wouldn't normally. kthnxbye.
