Edit: I can't find anything that works aside from the Twitch Gaming link: Part of Overlord Keighley's Summer Game Fest. Personally this is the one conference I know won't let me down just because, historically speaking, they've been so damn entertaining.

Hey folks, so in previous years of covering E3, I've often neglected to keep an eye on some of the smaller indie conferences which happen in-between the bigger shows, so this year I thought I'd create a thread to cover them. I'm going to rotate the title to cover the next event. Past events are listed and linked but I've put the video and descriptions in a spoiler tag, so that people can quickly see the next conference that's coming up without me having to constantly shuffle the content around. Playdate Update: Battlefield Reveal: Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live! Koch Primetime Guerilla Collective Guerilla Collective is a digital games festival, set up to champion a range of smaller independent developers and publishers. They’re doing multiple conferences this year along with two smaller events absolutely stuffed to the gills with announcements and first looks. The first of the smaller accompanying events is Black Voices In Gaming. This first of its kind event, will seek to throw the spotlight on some of the rising black stars of the gaming community and black developers will discuss their unique perspective on working in the industry in a series of separate live streams. The second event is the Nintendo style, Wholesome DIrect. This event is entirely focussed on the indie community, promising more than 75 individual games will be featured, including new reveals, first looks and exclusive footage of what the indie community has planned for the coming year. Guerilla Showcase 1: Black Voices In Gaming: Guerilla Showcase 2: Saturday June 12th - 16:00 BST WholesomeDirect: Saturday June 12th - 18:00 BST https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKMkV9T20tUOBqwsi5xh7HA Devolver Direct! Saturday June 12th - 21:30 BST https://www.youtube.com/c/DevolverDigital/featured Independent games publisher Devolver DIgital are back for another live showcase this E3 and this year they’re going with the tagline... The future begins again, no, me either, but they’re promising five big game announcements for games to be released this year. Is it too early to hope for a sequel to The Messenger??? Probably, but with big titles like Shadow Warrior 3 set for release this year, expect to see more from that along with a lot of teases for games in the pipeline. The Future Games Show! Sunday June 13th - 01:00 BST https://www.youtube.com/user/GamesRadar The Future Games Show is presented by Games Radar and is a multi-format, multi-publisher showcase event, which this year is being presented by The Last Of Us vocal talent, Troy Bake and Laura Bailey. GamesRadar are promising this years stream will feature more than 40 games. Most will be deep dives of titles announced elsewhere but with partners like SEGA, Private Division, Team 17 & XSEED Games, you can already hazard a guess where the exclusive announcements will come from. The Future Games Show will also be hosting the Hosting PC Gaming show. ------------------------- Now ironically, whilst I was typing away this afternoon, putting the E3 threads together, I check the forum to see the community has largely stepped up and created most of them already! I think that's absolutely great to be honest. It makes far more sense to have members who are most knowledgable and invested in each platform or company to be the one to put their respective threads together. As I've historically done it, I should have made more of an effort to put together an E3 team to see who was doing what, but I think with gospvg taking care of pulling it all together this year, this thread will be my only contribution (oh wait, just checked nobody has done Nintendo or Ubisoft yet)... well that and lots of hyperbole in the conference threads anyway. It's been a difficult year for many of us, so I think some light relief in the form of E3 is just the pick me up a lot of us need. Have a good one folks, stay up if you can and I'll see you in the wee hours for the inevitable post-conference whinge fest, haha.
