  1. Forum racing (open to forumites and friends) every MONDAY night at 8:00 PM UK time! Send friend request to @McSpeed (PSN = Joe_McSpeed) to be added to lobby and PS chat group List of Gran Turismo Sport (and other racing games) players: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ylvz-j8zE5hzI9MPRIX84WysTmBrtf24CpWVfPXUefg/ [Original post by MattyP:] Well looks like we will be getting another installment of Gran Turismo this year (hopefully)! Couldn't find another thread on this (did a quick search though so feel free to merge) so thought I might start
  2. I thought this might have been Onimusha at first, but no it's a new PS4 exclusive from Sucker Punch. Open world set in feudal Japan.
  3. Colour me excited for this. We know that Remedy tends to keep elements from earlier games around in later ones and this gives off a very Quantum Break vibe to me:
  4. Official Site Release Date: August 2nd 2016 ABOUT IMAGES VIDEOS One of the few stand-out games from the Sony media briefing.
  5. The time has finally come for a dedicated thread for the sequel to the best survival and underwater game ever made! And the reason: we finally have a release date, May 14th 2021 on all formats including next gen consoles and Switch. Only a month away, demons of the depths be praised! There is this release trailer you can watch, but I will personally be avoiding all spoilers; all I've seen is some early trailers from back in beta and a few screenshots. The game has been in early access for ages now and has already seen a complete story rework. Very excited to

  7. Looks like there's a sequel coming in August...

  9. Did a search for a topic on this but couldn't find one. Maybe not a surprise considering I've seen two videos so far, saying they'd not really heard of it before the last month. This is developed by Gunfire Games and mashes together a few genres. It's part souls, part Borderlands and a bit rogue-like. You can play online with up to three others or play solo, completely offline. It looks to have highly customisable characters, no micro transactions, with a promise of paid and free DLC. The gunplay looks pretty good though the locations seem quite sparse. There's the promise of 40+
  10. Teaser trailer: E3 2019 trailer: Final trailer: The Final Fantasy VII remake will use a more modern art style for Cloud, similar to his appearance in Dissidia Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It is being created to celebrate the 20th 23rd anniversary of Final Fantasy VII. The game will be directed by Tetsuya Nomura, with a scenario written by Kazushige Nojima, and will be a timed PS4 exclusive. Official Japanese site: >> http
  11. That's all you get. That's it. It was enough to make me get out of bed at 2am and scream OH MY GOD
  12. E3 Announce trailer: E3 Gameplay demo: E3 LiveCast: This formed a fairly big chunk of the Sony conference and it looked pretty cool to me. According to the developers in the LiveCast, and going by what was shown in the gameplay video, it's a post-apocalyptic open-world adventure game set in the Pacific Northwest where you play a biker-turned-bounty hunter, riding across the gorgeous environment while trying to avoid huge hordes of former human beings that the developers emphatically say aren't zombies but are in fact called 'Freakers'. My f
  13. Only discovered this today, but it looks right up my street. New game by Blue Isle Studios, due out any time (this summer). Exploration based platformer with supernatural elements. Looks a bit like Ethan Carter meets Sonic. I'll be keeping an eye on it anyway. Crap name though - seriously, try googling it.
  14. STOP THREAD COMING TO PS4 AND XBONE It bloody well could be. This will be the next simulator from the guys who bought you netKar Pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy... Its also moddable.. Indeed netKar and FVA are considered very decent sims but theres little in the way of pictures or track details so its more about putting it out there. Heres the first movie... And it doesn't say much most other games don't do. But one thing that will froth the racing heads is their first car sign up and for that i can show you a movie.. Excited? Well i can tell you the game will fea
  15. A thread of speculation. Bluepoint Games are, in my opinion, the best in the business in porting games to new platforms and go above and beyond. Be that in even attempting to port Titanfall to Xbox 360, to the Uncharted Collection with its control tweaks and extra modes. The last game they released was over a year ago, Gravity Rush Remastered, and have been silent since. The only clue of their current project is this statement: What is it they are working on? My guesses: Demon Souls Remastered - clearly a game that could do with a little bit of pol

  17. Looks like an announcement about a sequel to Red Dead Redemption is hopefully, just days away now. Tips and shortcuts. @Nimmel Once you've opened a draw or chest etc if you keep square held down he will loot everything in it without having to do it multiple times per container.
  18. Cause no-one seems to bother to make a proper thread and/or update the ones in existence, and since the original Xbox Psychonauts is one of my all-time favourite games, I'm making a thread myself. Psychonauts 2 is the long awaited sequel to the cult classic Psychonauts, which was an awesome 3D action-platformer that saw players litterally dive into the minds of different people, leading to a colourful and insane world in which the imagination of the creators seemed to be the only limitation. The first game came out in 2005, so it's been over 15 years since this incredibly uniq
  19. Thought this deserved its own topic as it's getting rather good reviews and is out tomorrow. It's a several hours long walking simulator, which seems like the perfect antidote to the lengthy epics we've been getting over the past few months. The hook of the game seems to be a more morbid Gone Home. You play as a girl returning to her family home and exploring the rooms of her now long-dead relatives. So far, so derivative. But what sets it apart is that you play as a participant in each family member's death via flashbacks. While most reviews have wisely steered clear of spoiling t

  21. Haven’t noticed a topic for this, thought I’d start one as it looks like a game that deserves a bit of attention. Loving the vibes from this, like they took Gauntlet, Golden Axe and Dungeon and Dragons and threw them into a blender. The pixel art is gorgeous yet has a distinct 90s retro feel too. Not to mention a banging soundtrack. Out at the end of the month, I’m looking forward to this. A more in-depth look:
  22. Thought I'd start a dedicated thread for this because it's really rather good, although you do have to slog through around an hour of tedium before it starts being so. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this but with Demon's Souls being my main PS5 launch game, I wanted something lighter I could switch to when I inevitably got frustrated or hit a wall in Souls. I didn't really expect to find myself having to tear myself away from this in order to carry on making progress in Souls though. There's no creation aspect at all, it's just a straightforward platformer i
