  1. It wasn't a particularly difficult arcade machine, but I could finish 1942 on one credit. As for epic moments, when I realised how to climb Avion, the 5th colossus in Shadow of the Colossus, on the PS2. I was like "surely not this way", then "OMFG, it worked!!!"
  2. I had this problem when NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered was released on Gamepass in 2021, the password was correct but it didn't work. However, after changing the password in the EA website, it was accepted in the Xbox. Of course, that meant I had to re-login in Origin, but everything works fine now. Also, make sure you've activated 2 Factor Authentication in your EA account. When the original NFS Hot Pursuit was released in 2010, I linked my PSN account to an EA account which doesn't use my main e-mail adress. After that, I never gave much thought to that account, and years later I created a new one tied to my main e-mail adress. Then, in 2020, I bought ... NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered for the PS4, which always tried to connect with the original EA-to-PSN tied account but failed, until I realised that, maybe, it didn't work because that old and forgotten account, unlike the new one, didn't have 2FA activated. After setting 2FA, it logged on inmediately.
  3. I only use native HDMI or native rgb scart. That's my split right there.
  4. Unfortunately, redeeming a plus game doesn't convert the same game installed from disc. Uninstall it and download the plus version.
  5. All console versions are 4,99£ right now
  6. Now I remember. The problem with Otogi was the camera X-axis, which worked like in Super Mario 64, ie, stick to the right, look to the left. There's no option to invert the X-axis in the pad accessibility menu, only the Y-axis on both sticks. Fuck.
  7. Oh, oh, oh, OMFG!!! It doesn't have an inverted camera option, which drives me mad, but I should be able to do that at OS level in the Series X. Is it seven o'clock yet?
  8. Just my luck. Only 2 games out of 76, Ridge Racer 6 and Otogi, but still I'm quite happy.
  9. You can do something similar in Nightmare of Mensis. Near MWN arena there're 2 multi-eyed pigs, you can make them pursue you until you reach a bunch of Shadows of Yharnam, then grab some popcorn. EDIT And beaten by a nose
  10. You should also worry about the bundled HDMI 2.1 cable, it's quite short.
  11. Checks site... usual certificate warning... fuck I'll miss my purple galaxian badge.
  12. I believe you can mimic the PS4 behaviour, there's an option for sharing in the main menu
  13. Hopefully, the update will get rid of that annoying blurry-for-an-instant effect in some menus
  14. Already mentioned, but Crackdown. It wasn't in my radar at all, but the demo converted me. The accelerated growth rate was key, allowing you to test your powers in the allowed time at a much faster rate than in the final game. Ironically, I couldn't care less about the Halo 3 beta included with the full game.
  15. A few months ago, mine suddenly would cold start in 480p, so I had to restart it to get 4K. That's no longer the case, I assume it was fixed in an update.
  16. No. After beating the final boss, you'll be asked if you want to start a new journey (NG+) or continue the current one.
  17. My Harmony remote controls the Series X fine with the Xbox One IR codes, even with the Eject command that is not available in the original remote.
  18. No. My Series X is in energy-saving mode as well, and I don't unexpectedly get that prompt on my CX Isn't exactly that what the energy-saving mode does?
  19. While I agree on the Xbox front, it's not all roses on the PC front with Microsoft. I've just built my new PC and turns out that I have to redownload EVERY single game from the Windows Store, it doesn't matter if I have a copy on the HDD. Steam can do it, Origin can do it, Ubisoft Connect can do it, even Epic Launcher can do it with some tinkering. Hell, the Xbox does it seamlessly, why this is different on Windows I don't know.
  20. That door is supposed to connect with the bridge where you fight the Cleric Beast, but can't be opened.
  21. I agree, at low fps count, a 10 frames difference is a world. However, I find the "30fps is now unplayable" stance in this thread way overstated. Of course, I prefer 60 fps when available, but I don't think twice about a game being 30fps, I just play it without problems.
  22. No, it wasn't, it ran at 30 fps. Years later, they included a 60 fps version with Ridge Racer Type 4
  23. Interesting. I don't use HMDI-CEC on the PS5 with my Harmony remote and my LG TV precisely because of the lack of a PS button. However, if the Home button of a Bravia remote worked, I could copy the Home command from my mother's Sony remote, and it wouldn't disable the access to the LG TV settings Looks like I have some "work" to do.
