That's pretty much killed it outside the US, hasn't it? I couldn't name a single Paramount show aside from Trek.

I assume it's in order to make it difficult to hoover up all their content for re-hosting elsewhere. 100 chapters is what, eight to ten volumes? It doesn't seem hugely unreasonable but I agree that it's odd they don't have a 'premium' plan that has an increased limit.

So is Netflix not getting Diamond is Unbreakable then?

My wife and I watched this last night.
I came away thinking it is Anderson's most visually captivating work, with virtually every frame intricately arranged and packed full of detail, as is his signature. But several scenes fly past at breakneck speed, and I struggled to fully grasp what was happening in parts, during McDormand's segment in particular. I also struggled to recall a single piece of music immediately after the viewing, which is a shame because the soundtracks to his films usually leave a big impression on me. I am looking forward to re-watching it, but I don't think it's top 3 Anderson for me.

While the rest of the food is disturbingly reminiscent of airplane food, I do love those glass milk cartons!

The sequel will be called Bad Moon Rising.

@deKay is it not the last room? Does the percentage change when you enter?

Can you start with 2 or 1 necessary?
Despite much of the puzzle-solving involving understanding the lore of the world, they aren't narrative-heavy games.
It's not necessary to have played 1 to get enjoyment out of 2, but the sequel didn't really introduce much in the way of new gameplay. If you're going to play only one of them, get whichever is cheaper.

They can’t call it Triangle Strategy.
They can't not, surely?

Is La Mulana good or an exercise in frustration?
Both?
It's difficult, unfair, and deliberately obtuse. I love it.

I haven't seen the anime in over a decade, but after watching that trailer I'm wondering if I'm remembering a completely different show.
If they're going to lean heavily into the comedy of the source material, could they not at least have tried making it funny?

Best Doctor is a tough choice. I love them all, for different reasons!

Did you post the wrong link again?

They didn't?
When I collected it from the battle arena, it definitely said "Shinning" armour in the little pop-up.

An interesting and diverse selection of hosts, I look forward to seeing how they play off each other.

I wish I'd known about the item that cleanses the waterway before I went through the whole thing without it.
There's a room in there I don't seem to be able to reach, it's behind a moving staircase that I don't seem to be able to get on the right side of.

How well or poorly had B5 aged? I’ve never seen it but can always do with a “new” sci fi series in my life.
It's hard to look at it and not have the burning glare of 90s TV studio lighting and N64-level CGI stare back. But it was a novel concept for a serial sci-fi at the time, and its multi-season story arc is still an impressive feat today. I'm not sure there's a whole lot that's truly original about its story, but I thought the characters were interesting and well developed. To look at it another way, it's leagues ahead of the likes of Discovery and Picard in storytelling.

Aha, many thanks!

How does the 'rewind' function work in this? From a video I saw, I assumed you could stop the game at any time, go back a few seconds, and start playing from a previous frame, but I can't work out how to do that. There's a save-state feature, and a 'replay' feature, but the former is just for going back to specific points you've already saved, and the latter just seems to be for saving little videos. Am I missing something or have I misunderstood what they meant by 'rewind'?

The Book Length Debate

My copy of Anathem has been sitting unread on my shelf since I bought it, a decade ago. It looms above me, poised like the boulder from Raiders, ready to crush me if I so much as look at it funny.
I've found myself reading less and less, preferring to listen to podcasts as my primary source of entertainment. I managed a very short crime novel over the Summer holiday. I don't know how I'll ever manage to get through an epic ever again.
