  8. You get to make the choices once you've played for a while.
  9. Did what I said and stuck everything on High straight away. Runs beautifully so far on my 290, i5 3570k @ 4Ghz and 8GB memory. Getting constant 60fps inside and most of the time outdoors in the first village. Some odd drops to 40-50 on occasion. Very impressed, thought I'd be spending most of the evening tinkering with the settings but if the performance stays constant then I can crack on with enjoying the game. One thing I have noticed is the cut-scenes seem to stutter quite badly. Not the in game ones, they're perfect, but the ones that seem to have that FMV style shimmer to them. Not a massive issue anyway.
  10. Yeah you want the latest autosave. It really absolutely gorgeous.
  11. I'm running a 290 so not expecting great performance. Will start at High (which looks absolutely fine judging by the comparisons on that tweak guide) and work down. So long as it's smooth I'll be happy. Stuttering in PC games is my biggest bugbear.
  12. That Hairworks stuff looks insane. Probably the first thing I'd turn off though for the performance gain.
  13. "The world needs you to fly...and so do I" The direlogue is strong in this one.
  14. I'll definitely try and have it done by Saturday. Not sure about one sitting. I don't want to burn it out and drag myself to the end bleary eyed. It's all about avoiding spoilers now - the suit is starting to appear everywhere.
  15. 8.01am for us. Simultaneous with everyone else I think.

    Dying Light

Yep I thought it was brilliantly intuitive. I think the only time it pissed me off was trying to climb the massive bridge struts. Which also incidentally gave me my first ever in game vertigo.
