I had a really good time with this but as mentioned above it’s not the film I expected from the trailers.
It reminded me most of Tremors - a small group of likeable characters in an isolated location using their ingenuity to fend off a giant people eater.
As a big summer monster movie with a few moments of genuine horror and a gloriously stupid third act I thought it was great fun.
