  1. I've been watching vids of this game cos it keeps on coming up in my feed, usually people with actual real dashboard setups driving amongst real-world traffic, and leaving me wondering if it was real or not.

I've looked at comparison sites between this and Gran Turismo, and the genera gist seems to be that this is more realistic than that game.  Correct?

It's an old game now, right?  Is it still worth getting?

Or just stop playing for a bit and do something else and come back to it later. Something will always drag you back in.

LOL I've only been playing very occasionally for a while now, probably around 8 years.  I even went back to GTA 5 on the PS3 a few months ago and the save game said "last played November 2013".

Have a look at some indie titles maybe? Sub to PS+ Premium for a month and have a look through that and see anything reignites interest.

Interesting.   Maybe that's the way to go, and if I like a game I buy it.

Edit: Oh and GT7 is definitely an improvement over what has gone before especially with the dual sense controller! The weather etc adds a lot to the racing. As for crash damage why would you need that? You shouldn't be crashing ;) Still a bit grindy though and has licenses etc so it's GT. Oh it does have music rally which is interesting :D

LOL I just remember switching to Need For Speed and I had so much fun.

  3. Yeah I think you can only get the expansion pack from Nintendo only, I can't see it anywhere.

Which means he has two choices:

Either get a sub then add the expansion pack from Nintendo direct, or forget about the N64 classics and just buy the Mario Kart extra pack thing separately (at least it'll be permanent).

You're right that the samples have never caused any issues that we know of. But one change did have to be made: in the 2011 release, the vocals were removed from the Japanese/European intro and ending.

Original Mega CD version (linking to the Sonic Jam versions because of their better video quality):

    The vocal-less 2011 versions:

I've just read this.  Am a bit confused, cos the music I remember was none of these versions.  This is the only version of the intro I encountered. where did this come from if those above were the originals?

  5. I didn't buy it

Donate it to a children's hospital and then have a serious chat with yourself, you plum.

    You fool 🤦🏾‍♂️ I didn't buy it.

  6. I have to say that none of those games mentioned entice me one bit.  It must be me, I'm burnt out.  In general I don't like FPS games (although I did like Counter Strike, Half Life, Wolfenstein) so as it seems that the console is full of them doesn't bode well for me.

I bought every single GT game up to 5 Prologues, I even got some limited edition versions (I had a BMW one that apparently was used in BMW showrooms IIRC).  I just got burnt out and refused to buy GT5 and Sport, I had way more fun with the Need for Speed games (up to Rivals) so I dunno if I really want to go back.  Did they fix the lack of crashing/deformation of cars, and the drone CPU cars in GT7?

  7. I've had my PS5 for a month and... I'm going to be controversial and say that PS5 has no games.

There isn't one game that I want to buy.  Not one.  Well, not strictly true - there's Street Fighter 6 but that's next year and judging by the videos I'd rather go back to Street Fighter II.  Where's the Need For Speed games?  FIFA... 💤 Gran Turismo... 💤

Maybe I'm getting old, but this is the first generation where I don't have a list of games to get.  Unbelievable.

    Change my mind.
