I find it funny that there are people who seem to point to LCS appearing on the PS2 as the reason why PSP will fail. To be honest, it doesn't matter if this will be on the PS2 or not, PSP owners like me will buy LCS, VCS (and probably SAS;)) on the PSP no matter what. Yeah I know LCS was £40 and the PS2 version is £19.99 but you know what, I thoroughly enjoyed it on the PSP and definitely do not plan to get VCS on the PS2 at all, but will definitely be getting it on the PSP (yes I have both PSP and PS2). I enjoyed playing it on the move so I don't particularly care if it's on another platform, even if I have that platform. Hell, I've bought the Mario games again on the GBA a while ago, even though I have bought it on the NES and Super NES.
As for the argument that DS is more suited cos of the short games that fit particularly well for that 20-min journey by bus or train, not for me. Games like that bore me very quickly, not to mention won't last an hour or more journey on a long train journey or plane. I much prefer proper long games that I can progress and I would wager most PSP users do too. The stand-by feature of the PSP makes it particularly good for this, nullifying any initial loading time that afflicts the handheld currently.
Anyway, who says the PSP isn't doing as well? From this source, the PSP has sold 20 million units worldwide. IGN quotes Nintendo as saying they sold 21 million. Counter me if I'm wrong and go ahead and say that Sony's figures aren't worth the webpage it's uploaded on, but please do it with facts and not fanboy crap. But those figures show that it's far more closer than people think so therefore EA are clearly talking out of their arse (not a surprise there).
