    I know about a half dozen Switch owners in person and a few more by extension. Some of these are long-time gamers. Not one of them had a WiiU.

  16. I have a 1440p PC monitor, but still prefer to play in 1080p if I can't hit a silky frame rate at full resolution.
  17. Yeah, it seems that's the problem I'm having, although I can't figure out what that service is. All my Sony accounts seem to be "linked", so I don't know how it's possible to change the email address on one/any of them now. I'm trying to get support to help me resolve it. *sigh*

  23. Pretty amazing news, but I'm not sure how it'll work with movement etc. HTC have finally given me a new Basestation, so I can get it all set up again now. I've not been following developments over the past couple of weeks due to the frustration of it all, but I'm looking forward to going back through the thread to see what I've been missing. My Rift shipped today as well. So I've come in from the VR wilderness to outright VR saturation in one day. Hey-ho.
  24. Yeah, same. It's great if you need to adjust something quickly or have a swig of tea or whatever. Double click to bring up the real world and just keep the headset on. I did have to re-jig all my other USB devices to get it working, but it was worth it. In other Vive news, I got my faulty basestation back on Monday. And they have totally failed to fix it. Yay HTC support! So they've "escalated" the case, which apparently means that someone will call me in 3 days. You can't make this shit up. Worst customer service ever.
