  1. Repeatedly! Actually, one bastard thing he did was kick a spider off the stage in to our front row seats during the show. Thinking about it, I was paralysed and I should have called the police for the assault.
  2. Oh god, no. I've met him. There isn't a doubt in my mind it isn't true. (should that read 'is true' or 'isn't true'? Either way, I don't doubt the reports.) I've always thought he was a pervert.
  3. Nope, asshole. (See, I can call you names too!) I'm saying it's never a surprise when you see somebody become 'born again' so to speak - you only have to look at their past to see what they're trying to make amends for.
  4. Sure, but anybody who's followed him knows he's been on that male feminist bandwagon these last few years, so of course he'd say that now.
  5. I'd agree with that, but for the part that says they hung around until he finished. I mean, paralysed is a handy word to use, but I'd be far more inclined to think that if they really had a problem, they wouldn't have hung around.
  6. I'm saying there was more communication other than a laugh, and all the nuance and detail of late night drinks back at hotel room is missing with the description "they laughed"
  7. It's a grey area because we don't know what kind of laugh it was. Nervous? Hysterical? Derisory? We'll never know.
  8. Every night on the road, he comes off stage and is surrounded by women at the bar wanting to buy him a drink. We're talking rock star lifestyle here.
  9. "I'm a piece of shit" is probably his most repeated line. I'm not arguing that, and neither is he. It's still not assault. And I'm not saying he had no power before 2007, I'm saying it's night and day compared to the power after 2007. Totally incomparable.
  10. Him being a fucked up human being, enough to be with other women even though he had a wife, is not news. Not to people who listen to what came out of his mouth. Therefore, using the "OMG, he had a wife!" line is absurd. He was open about how shitty that relationship was at the time.
  11. Yeah, he's a fucked up human being. That's not news. It's not news that he couldn't stand his wife, even when he was with her.
  12. Neither he, nor the women involved, nor the newspaper said it was assault. That's my point.
  13. @Wickedkitten Yeah, I know, but I'm talking about Louie CK "the star" - which did not happen until 2007 onwards, from Louie CK the minor performer and respected writer. They're two completely different periods of his life.
  14. Power? Force? In 2005 he was a writer. His sitcom didn't happen until 2006, his first hour long stand up was 2007.
  15. I don't know, he asked permission, and the only one that's a grey area are the women who went back to his hotel late at night for drinks, who laughed. 1 - "Louis C.K. asked if he could take out his penis" - "They thought it was a joke and laughed it off." 2 - "he asked if he could masturbate in front of her." - "She declined" 3 - "He asked if we could go to my dressing room so he could masturbate in front of me." - "she declined" 4 - "repeatedly asked her to watch him masturbate, she said." - "She went along with his request"
  16. "Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape."
  17. They went out of their way to avoid the assault word - they used misconduct.
  18. Louis C.K. is a pervert, not a predator, and the difference matters
