  1. I've been playing this frequently since Season 9. Still love it. Wish they'd fix the frigging bugs (the movement bug is AGHHHHHHHHH), but I still love it to bits. I don't rage at it whatsoever, no matter how much I lose, unlike frigging Overwatch.
  2. I went in expecting nothing, and I got Star Trek in return. Welcome back, Star Trek. You're a bit quirkier than I'm used to, but at least you're not Picard S2.
  3. What? It was amazing. The whole damn thing was amazing. Holy shit that was the most fun Marvel thing in forever.
  4. I didn't hate it. I didn't love it. I kind of felt nothing by the end. I felt like it would've been better if the action in the first five minutes was the only action, and the rest of the movie was just a constant "fuck you" to the audience and the studio, and Keanu Reeves ends up going insane, killing every motherfucker.
  5. Probably doesn't help that Paramount stupidly wanted it off Netflix. I'm not tuning into Pluto TV at a specific time every week to watch Burned Ham Adventures. I'll suffer when I want to.
  6. I generally watch a whole season even if I'm not feeling it before I just give up on a show. I liked S1. It was janky, but it was fun. This season's had all the fun sucked out of it, replaced by the Ciri storyline that isn't particularly interesting in the slightest. I liked the first episode, as I like it when Geralt does his Witcher thing. That just... vanishes after that episode, more or less. Half the fun of Witcher 3 was going around seeing what quests I could get, since they were generally quite interesting little stories along with hitting big monsters. I guess I just wanted some of that from the show, which clearly is not going to happen.
  7. I watched five episodes last night, and found it boring as fuck. The Ciri stuff drags it down so much. Also, the casting for other characters is... yikes.
  8. If you're still having this problem, I fixed it by going into Windows PowerShell in Admin mode and pasting Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} Infinite loaded fine for me the first time, then I had to restart for some graphical gubbins to take effect, and it all went to shit. The game basically broke GP for me, since I couldn't even install anything else. Just errors every time. Once I fixed it, I then had *sigh* an invisible Chief during the first in-game cut-scene, which resulted in it freezing once I got to take control. I did wonder why guns were floating in mid-air. Anyway, restarted and it's fine now. That cut-scene judder is absolutely horrific, though.
  9. Yay new Halo! Yay it launches into the Microsoft Store when I launch it! Woo! Day one gaming is fucking shit on PC.
  10. It's... ehh... it's alright. Maybe it gets better later on, but first impressions after an hour or so are a bit "why does this even exist?"
  11. The visuals were wildly inconsistent. Those big branch things at the end moving around at 30fps was just weird, and it definitely felt like something primarily designed for PS4 (I mean, it was basically Revelations 3 before they realised they could polish the fucker up and ship it as a full price game). The ray-traced reflections were utterly hilarious, too. That water. Good god. I didn't hate my time with it, but a faster-paced game with RE7's controls and movement speed was not the way to go at all. The Stronghold area was pure torture simply because it felt shit to fight about ten werewolves. Fuck werewolves.
  12. Bit late to the party (thanks Capcom and your fucking PC port), but if anyone is still struggling with ray-tracing gradually dive-bombing their performance on PC, set a manual page file size. I can finally PLAY THE FUCKING GAME.
  13. This kind of news should make me hyped, not sigh.
  14. I can't even see the EA games on the sodding XBox app. What's going on there?
  15. Shame it doesn't run at a bloody smooth framerate on a 144hz monitor.
  16. It was a massive disappointment, for sure. It still had moments of greatness, but most of the levels were just pure shit, and visually it was really dull. As shitty as the old mega-textures thing could look with the version of idtech TNO used, it still managed to be fun to look at.
  17. The Bow's Hera Aspect makes the game hilariously easy, I've found. Get a bit of a speed boost from Hermes, the double-shot upgrade, and the close-quarters damage upgrade, and you're laughing hysterically all the way to the end. Also just the simple Zagreus sword aspect is fierce combined with quicker attacks and the perk that halves your health but gives you +2 for each attack. Literally un-killable.
  18. It's not out on anything but Switch and PC at the moment.
  19. I'd honestly recommend the spear to anyone still struggling. It has a nice range/power trade-off, and it can be absolutely devastating with the correct boons and modifications. Death Defiance is definitely the way to go, by the way. It makes [redacted] so much easier.
  20. Justified is so fucking good that its worst season is still better than most other things.
