Made this the other day for the girlfriend and she loved it 200g sugar 200ml of water 200ml of lemon juice zest of 1 lemon and also flesh too 1 hjeaped table spoon of mascarpone 1) Get your bowl, preferably metal and put it in the freezer about 30 mins before you will need it. 2) In a pan, miz the water and sugar and bring to the boil and then simmer for about 5 - 10 minutes until the liquid is clear and syrupy. 3) Remove from the heat and allow to cool for about 15 mins then add the lemon juice and zest. Keeping testing the taste as sometimes it can get too lemony (which I love!). If it is too sour, add a little sugar to taste. 4) Remove the aformentioned metal bowl and pour the mixture in, and add the pieces of cut up flesh. 5) Put back into the freezer - and every hour check and give it a quick forking and whisk it up gentle. After about 4 hours it should start to have freeze thoroughly and the whisking should be a bity more difficult. 6) Once frozen its done and read to eat! For a sauce just blend up some raspberries to a puree and done! 7) EAT!

  8. Have to admit - the first DS put me off. It wasn't asthetically pleasing. But they brought the DS lite out and I KNEW I had to have one. Also a supercard helps too.

    Boil them in the pod for about 5 mins and add some salt to the shell once they have been drained. Eat with beer! Very nice and maybe healthy snack!

    So today thought would venture out and try cooking some different cuts of meat - not that I am bad with sirloin, fillet or breast meat etc but making something a bit different really. However, ribs i have never cooked before and am a complete novice with them. I have, of course, eaten them in different forms and sauces, ie barbecue ribs, spare ribs, raqck of lamb, but how on earth do you get it so the meat just drips off and is soooo juicy. Should mention that I am using pork and also beef ribs too.

    Check out the very bottom on the food menu and you can see the egg. Add this to your rice and stir! Eggy rice! YUMMY!
  23. Don't flood the JD with coke otherwise you'll just get soem sickly weird aftertaste - I normally do a 1 jd to 2 coke. Allows the JD to be tasted whilst taking of some of the edge. OF course if you use ice, make it a 1:1 as the ice will water it down. If you want to get trashed on it - which I some people do- make it a 2:5 ratio without ice.
