  1. Comparisons to The Witness, Fez and Outer Wilds would beg to disagree.
  2. I've put on reduced combat difficulty for now, which seems decent, but falling behind the scenery and dying really is not good. I've had enough people enthuse about the game to persevere, it's just the issue with playing with tropes is you still end up with a game full of tropes. When I see a hookshot target in an area spoiling that at some point I'll get a hookshot and have to return my heart sinks.
  3. And I just fell to my death when behind a cliff. Fucking great.
  4. Just defeated the Garden Knight after lowering the difficulty. Tbh, at the moment it feels like a derivative Zelda knock off with a beautiful manual. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I've also got real issues with the combat - I don't have the patience with this kind of game to git gud, but I've no idea if I'm meant to or if I'm missing a puzzle. Most unsatisfying.
  5. I normally really like GMTK but this was disappointing. Hardly any time was spent on the world design, a lot was spent complaining about the lack of enemy scaling (fucking lol). Felt like he felt obliged to make an Elden Ring episode but had little insight to share.
  6. Really enjoyed this until I remembered Ron Gilbert can't write endings anymore. Still worth a gamepass play.
  7. This is the way. Seeing this thread at the top makes me want to play through again. Too many games...
  8. I value it, just not as much as Microsoft want me to.
  9. Mostly agree, but then I remembered how much I fell in love with Mass Effect 3 through the story missions.
  10. @Alan StockY . Your infections enthusiasm has persuaded me to give this another shot Edit - maybe not - it's decided a 3gb update is needed
  11. It's a good week for £100+ videogame IP boardgame Kickstarters.
  12. Got bored during the face cream one but forced my way to the end. Waste of time tbh, put me off watching the rest.
  13. There's a wodge of cards there, but I don't know their previous game, and they seem to think they'll be avoiding UK VAT, which I can't see how. As with all videogame IP just wait for retail I think. Does make me wish I could get the Hollow Knight license for a board game. Easiest million ever there I reckon.
  14. Thanks, we appear to be doing really well! It's hard to tell because it's measured in momentum, and at any point it feels like it could just stop. But not yet!
  15. Thanks! A bit longer than the last but we had a higher goal. Just hope we hit that stretch goal now!
  16. Shouldn't be, should just be around £5 for both.
  17. Thanks! Still have no idea how it's doing. Obviously on a $/hr basis it's great, but in the last Die of the Dead campaign everything after the first day was 1/8th of that first day, and that was funding in the first 12 hours. I'm pricing much more sensibly, just crossing my fingers that's enough to fund!
  18. And we are live! A massive thanks to any support people can give, I know it's a tough time at the moment so honestly just helping to share and get the word out is massively appreciated. Reminder that the K in the corner is the one that actually takes you to the Kickstarter page!
  19. Just makes me think how fantastic the original looked at the time. Incredible achievment
  20. This is it, one more night and then we go live. Always a bloody anxious time.
  21. It was very reminiscent of an in-game cutscene, in that I quickly became bored and skipped it.
  22. There were times I wanted to throw my controller at the TV, but that's not what stays. You'd love it.
