  1. It isn't as good as Not Still Over on "Candlize", the Yaida Hitomi album Over the Distance is on, though
  2. Some of the *best* gaming experiences, IMO, are handheld games.
  3. Completed hard mode last night. I put that near the top of my "fucking proud gaming moments" list. Very hard mode, however...
  4. GAH!! IT IS NOT CHRISTMAS FOR TWO MONTHS. Christmas DOES NOT and SHOULD NOT begin until Christmas Eve. And even then, I'd prefer it not to happen at all. Bloody relatives expecting me to spend my game money on shit for them? Piss off. HUMBUG.
  5. I'm not 100% sure *what* it is, apart from involving pachinko and stroking ladies. Not that I've ever been put off buying a game because I had no idea what it was ever before. *ahem* http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/museum/games/game.php?id=655 http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/museum/games/game.php?id=668 http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/museum/games/game.php?id=647 http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/museum/games/game.php?id=291 http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/museum/games/game.php?id=1142 http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/museum/games/game.php?id=66 etc.
  6. Super Ordered! Also added While I was at it. I mean, who could resist that face?
  7. Well, they're not launch titles. In fact, the only *announced* title, let alone launch title I'm interested in is PGR3 and I'm not buying a 360 just for that. But if I could only afford a 360 and one game, I'd not buy a 360 at all and stock up on Xbox, GC and DS titles instead, and wait until it's worth buying one.
  8. If it's anything like the Norwich to London train, it might sit stationary outside Manningtree for anything up to an month :/
  9. I'd gladly contribute to the watching figures, if only you were in a proper part of the UK
  10. Better *value*, but other than that they're exactly the same. Sandisk make the Sony sticks for Sony, who just put their name on them and bump the price up...
  11. I play most of my PC games (which is, erm, not many) and emulators with my digital Hori GC pad, or a standard GC pad if it needs analogue. I have two original MS Sidewinder pads (the non-rumble, non-USB ones) which were good, but it's been ages since I've had a PC with a game port. The best PC pad atm, imo, is the USB Saturn one.
  12. I almost smashed by PAL copy of Sonic Gems because it had the "wrong" music. It ruined my day, it did. However, Rainbow Islands without the right music doesn't bother me, since I grew up with the 48K Speccy version
  13. My Mac mini PSU is lubbly Mac white
  14. I quite enjoyed it, until I had to format my PC for some reason and then it refused to run. It always seemed like a single player MMORPG to me. IYSWIM.
  15. I'm now into my 5th year of subscribing to EGM, and I've never known it to arrive more than a week or so after the US get it on the shelves. I used to pick it up most months from my local newsagent around 1993-1995, when it was millions of pages but only about 10 of which had actual content, the rest being ads. There's more content and less ads now, but still more ads than UK magazines.
  16. Phantasy Star IV. I loved the previous three, and the way IV's story tied them all together was great. PSO was a huge disappointment :/
  17. I subscribe only for Seanbaby's page. Well, it was only £12 for two years. Seriously. The rest of the magazine is pretty crap.
  18. No. But that doesn't stop it being one of the best games I have ever played.
  19. Downpoints for SotC seem to include stuttering and sameyness. Dawn of Sorrow is a masterpiece.

  21. Just completed this game, with the proper ending and all. And... it was SUPARBEST. The whole game. Best 2D platformer I've played in ages. There's nothing I didn't like about it, it was paced just right, wasn't too easy nor too hard, was fun to play, looked excellent and the story was great, even though I hadn't played AoS. The final boss fight was as final boss fights *should* be - epic. Due to the amount of my life I've given this game this week, I suspect the extra mode might have to wait, though. I have a pile of unplayed DS titles here that need my attention
  22. I've just realised - Phoenix Wright and Princess Peach are not in my list of 27 DS games I've pre-ordered. Poo.
