The feeling of getting home from school and seeing the latest Zzap 64 on the floor was like Christmas (don't get me started on the Christmas issues) There were other mags, but Crash, Zzap and AA were different. The best, best times. RIP.

Yeah, I think if I had played before I'd have paused on the PSVR 2 pre-order for now.

Has she tried intermittent fasting?

After about a year, I've got past the first villager encounter in RE4 and it really shines when you get used to the positions of your gear on your body. I can't believe how well it stands up and actually works in VR. About three quarters down now and it's making me very excited for Village but I hope Capcom have had a good look at this, given how the controllers are now on par for interactions. If you've got a Quest 2 and haven't tried this, get on it.

Sweet - looking forward to this.

RIP - many hours spent dying in Dropzone and screaming at mates playing IK.

Decided to leave Elden Ring until January and focus on getting on with RE4. Noticed the Rez and Tetris effect demos and spent 45 mins on them and now am having to resist buying them both as I'll probably get rid of the Quest early next year. Tetris Effect is only a tenner, though.

Ooooh! Fisherman's Tale was such a joy for a couple of nights last Christmas. I still need to finish RE4 and Elden Ring but these guys really get VR... probably coming to PSVR2 next year, isn't it?

Free upgrade for PS4/5 as well - that's my launch game sorted out. Not played it yet as I was holding out for PSVR 1 version.

It's strange because they must be doing a sequel to Astrobot - even if it's a little way off, I'd have got it out there that it's in development to secure anyone wavering about a pre-order. I'm getting mine because PSVR had a really decent library in the end but Sony should be doing a bit more of the lifting this time round with first party stuff.

Wonder when they'll start allocating these to retailers as it can't be the only way they're selling them. I'd imagine quite a few existing pre-orders will be cancelled as we get closer to February when people realise that what's been shown is really all they're getting at launch.

I hated that more than the Darth Vader corridor scene - shoe-horned drivel.

So, the animations themselves aren't being sold as extras - it's part of legit story DLC.- 400 replies

So, they're going to add extra death animations next year when most people have presumably played and finished it? And sell them as extras? What?- 400 replies

Yep, that basically makes it a second hand purchase on principle for me (if it turns out to be really good) Deliberately making your game slightly lower quality for people handing over their cash - go fuck yourselves. you greedy, greedy wankers.- 400 replies

I think the character's name is Two Tubes if it's the one from Rogue One.
-
I have a feeling you'll get one without a huge amount of bother.

Astrobot is incredible and I'd imagine the sequel is a good way through development.

A Fisherman's Tale is simply fantastic - lasts about two hours but it's so brilliantly done. I'd kill for Skyrim with the new controllers.

I just want more stuff that's designed from the ground up for VR like Fisherman's Tale - which, while short, totally understands what's special about VR and the opportunities it offers to do something that makes you grin from ear to ear.

I love how this show has taken a part of the timeline and introduced new, interesting characters and planets as well as fleshing the whole thing out without any nodding, winking or 'sassy' quips. I really like The Mandalorian but I think this is the best Star Wars since the original trilogy.
