There isn’t a single aspect of this game that isn’t an easy 10/10 for me.

It’s nigh on the perfect game. I was confident it would supplant BOTW as my GOAT. But I’m shocked by just how much it’s leapt past it, and how quickly.

The light roots correlate exactly with a shrine on the surface. So exactly above will be a shrine. Fantastic way of finding missed ones, and can put a marker on the overworld map.

 

Further to this I just spotted that the name of each of those locations in the depths

Another 4 hours of sleep. Another night of Ultrahand dreams. Another day trying (in vain) to get some work done while thinking about dashing back to Hyrule for just another wee hit. It's insanely addictive.

The size and scope of The Depths, and the stuff that you find down there is just ridiculous. It really feels like a whole other game. Claustrophobic, terrifying, and simultaneously intriguing and exciting. Very Elden Ring. Absolutely love it.

Might as well start with the one on the main story path.
