It’s amazing how poor this phase has been. So much mediocrity. I could happily rewatch 80% of everything in Phases 1-3. I can’t think of much in Phase 4 to date (films not TV*) that I’ll ever rewatch: Panther 2, Thor L&T, Eternals, Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Strange 2. Christ, what a shower. Okay, Thor’s decent. But it’s really only Spidey: No Way Home that’s genuinely good, assuming that counts. * Phase 4 telly has been mostly ace: She Hulk, Ms Marvel, WandaVision and Hawkeye were legit great. Moon Knight, What If? and Loki were pretty good. Only Falcon was a bust.

Just finished it. Very disappointing. I like the first a lot, but this was just tedious, meandering, and an hour too long. The Aquaman cross-over was a crap idea, badly delivered. The only bits that resonated were the Boseman tributes that bookended it.

It clearly shouldn’t assume that and nor should posters. Unless the thread owner changes the terms of the thread so that everything is out in the open, it should continue to be spoiler tags for game related stuff.

Finally watched Shoesmith’s earlier outing in The Magician last night (via a terrible quality YT rip of the whole film). Interesting approach to the character, almost a non-canonical/parallel universe version of Ray. Certainly not a patch on the show, but the dark humour is intact. I’d not recommend the version I watched, but the film itself is certainly worth it for completionists.

I honestly think that was one of the best love stories TV has had. And it was done in about 60 minutes, on a show about mushroom-zombies. Mazin.

Lovely stuff. Knew it was going to be good, and it didn’t disappoint. The final meal scene was incredible. Offerman needs an award for that. Shame they had to ruin it with Mando and Grogu. 😉
