  1. Yeah, same here but do you know what, I do reckon this will be worth more in 10 years than what we have paid for it. How often does that happen?
  2. With a bit more fiddling they did react and I was able to use them. Thanks.
  3. Downloaded the alpha a few days ago. Been playing it quite a bit. Are the cards not usable in this alpha? I can't seem to activate them, they're just accruing at the bottom of the screen and now obscuring my score...
  4. Thanks for that. I'm quite excited by this, my order should be shipping shortly.
  5. Whilst the previous poster made it clear he only cares about the words and they will indeed be unchanged, this first edition will be unique due to the illustrations. That cover is all kinds of awesome and whilst I don't expect every King fan to be up for this edition, it's hardly a king's ransom at 25 bucks + postage for a unique first edition. Maybe I expected a little more enthusiasm from genuine King fans, I know I would've been grateful for the heads up if I hadn't found out about it of my own accord. Quite staggered how scarce information of this release is.
  6. You can't care too much about the words if you're willing to wait. Ah, you mean you're cheap.
  7. I haven't really shared this observation before and I'm not really sure if anyone else has aired it either but does anyone think there's any synchronicity between prisoner zero in ep1 and the smiler announcing the little lads score at the begining of ep2 as ZERO? It seemed to stand out for me at the time. Coincidence?
  8. Is no one interested in owning a first edition of a King novella? It's a print run of 10,000 and apparently it's 95% sold out. I reckon that means around 500 copies remain. I fail to see how a King fan could resist.
  9. Tell her you won't watch eastenders ever again. Who is once a week for 13 weeks ffs.
  10. I think you need to get yourself over to off topic, insults such as these don't really fit well in retro.
  11. Hey constant readers, wanna own a first edition of a short run Stephen King novella? Well, this one may be currently sailing under your radar. http://www.cemeterydance.com/page/CDP/PROD/king04

  13. It's of no real consequence and it wasn't a plot continuity error but I did spot a very minor visual continuity error. When the young boy gets in the vator near the begining of the episode and the floor opens up, the smiler can already be seen with teeth exposed in that frame. Cut to the smiler and it rotates to the teeth bared face 'cliffhanger', cue credits and opening music. I have too much time on hands...
  14. Karen Gillan on at 10:30am today.
