Battlefield 1 - World War One

Has anyone on PC, since the latest update noticed any FPS degradation? Been playing it recently and it used to be smooth as butter. Now, it's constantly dipping under 60 FPS and feels choppy as hell. Tinfoil hat Redditors seem to think it may have purposely been made shit to make you buy Battlefield V

What musical hill are you prepared to die on?

See, I'd disagree. It's like two songs trying to be mashed together. Completely misses the tone and the bleak outlook of the song. All imo, ofc.

    Retro PC Appreciation Thread

I ended up getting a 1.2 Athlon system. My mates are all nostalgic for P3 systems as thats what they had when they were younger and used to bring to LAN parties. Myself? I was late to the party (too poor) and I used to get the cast off machine that ran like a bag of spanners. The Athlon was my first machine so it has a certain amount of nostalgia for me in the same way. Putting a mofo SSD in it though, knackers to that!

    Retro PC Appreciation Thread

My mates are making a spare room into a retro LAN room. So now I need to build an ol' retro PC to participate. Only problem is, the P3 systems seem to be rare as hens teeth. Usual price inflation on anything else. I saw a recommendation to get a single core P4 system instead (as they're a bit more plentiful) but my concern is that the clockspeed (1.6+ GHz) is going to be a bit fast for unbound games?

    Is your local cinema terrible?

We don't have one apart from the local Council jobby. The old Robbins cinema shut its doors many moons ago and was never replaced. Until later this year, when a new Odeon is opening up, followed by an Everyman Cinema nearby. So it usually involves a journey to the Odeon Metro Centre 15 miles or so away. Lovely brand new cinema, but fuck me the prices are insane. Cost me £13.50 to see Deadpool 2 with Premier Seating on a normal 2d showing t'other day. No doubt this will of included the "Blockbuster Surcharge" or whatever they're calling it (Skimming the cream springs to mind).

    Battlefield V

£70.00 to pre-order Deluxe edition Only problem with doing away with Premium is that you're no doubt going to have to pay for DLC down the line...

    Battlefield V

    I love BF1. I honestly don't get the hate.

All Grainger Games stores are now closed

Grainger's attractiveness as a game store evaporated when the competitive pricing went to the wall from selling Grey and U.S. import copies. Think Sony had threatened them at one point over the importing malarkey? (Could be wrong). I couldn't remember the last time I went in other than to kill 5 minutes while waiting for an appointment or such. Local town is down to just CEX now.

    Is "Game" finished?

    Got a link?

    Is "Game" finished?

I didn't think 20 years out of a EPOS system was unheard of. Game re-did all there's back in ...actually can't remember. When they spunked all that money on "Supersonic" that they scrapped a couple of years later (bet Deloitte were laughing their cocks off though).
