  1. The world map in this has a level of detail that all 2D Zelda games should aspire to.
  2. The framerate hiccups are a real shame. After watching the above video, it seems it could be something that might not exist if they’re testing on dev hardware, perhaps? Only when it’s put on cartridge, SD card, or on the (slow?) Switch internal storage? I have no idea about these things really, so it’s just mindless speculation, but I assume they don’t just test games from an SD card. Seems like a massive oversight you don’t normally come across in a Nintendo game, that’s all.
  3. My wife let me break my birthday embargo and I started this tonight. It is simply delightful. Nobody makes adventures like Nintendo. Like @Jamie John, I’ve also noticed a few design quirks in the first couple of hours. A consequence of them sticking pretty rigidly to the source material, I guess In the first dungeon I got stuck:

Just a quick heads up for anyone excitedly updating their iPad, connecting a PS4 controller, and installing Sonic Racing...
  5. Shame about the DoF effect. Done right, it would have suited this game beautifully, making everything look like a gorgeous diorama.
  6. But should a title like GTA V be considered one game, when the single player and multi player experiences differ so drastically? So to avoid further arguments, I propose a revision to ‘Fifty-One Games’.
  7. Yeah, the book seems expensive for 30 quid, and it's not as if it's 2001: A Space Odyssey or whatever.
  8. Where is Candy Crush Saga? That has to be up there as one of the most influential wallet-bleeders of the 21st century.
  9. It’s a bit close to “Top 30 murder simulators of the last decade” for me.
  10. I think it’s just the same image that’s being used for a few other Batman promotions doing the rounds at the moment, like this one on the iTunes Store: That would be a very nice haul, mind!
  11. Yeah, there are no Batman games out on the Epic Store at the moment. Possibly Arkham Knight, as it’s free on PS Plus this month too.
  12. And every year there are more and more kids turning 13, asking their parents to to buy it for them.
