  1. Interesting that it's a straight up remake, expansions and all. I wonder if the plans is to launch it and then bring out all new expansions?
  2. This has thrown me for a loop - I was all set to bypass the Xbox, upgrade my PC and pick up a PS5. Really tempted to ditch the PC upgrade now and just get the Xbox (with all the PC changes I need to make it works out cheaper by quite a lot).
  3. Glad it wasn't just me - there was definitely something going past the window but it was a blur and hard to see. Wondering if it's just an oddity they put in there, or something that becomes relevant later on.
  4. Am I missing something with Episode 3? The scene where Hippolyta was talking to Montrose in the shop - there's a clear noise like 'something' happened. All I could see was it looked like the outside was slightly reversed?
  5. Mostly every single issue of anything to do with Black Panther is free on Comixology right now - not sure for how long. I stole the links from Reddit, but changing the .com parts to .co.uk should take you to the UK site. 2018 to now: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-2018/comics-series/115301 1977 - 1979: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-1977-1979/comics-series/64172 1988: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-1988/comics-series/128401 1998 to 2003: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-1998-2003/comics-series/9901 2005 to 2008: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-2005-2008/comics-series/839 2008 to 2010: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-2008-2010/comics-series/8999 2010 to 2012: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-The-Man-Without-Fear-2010-2012/comics-series/6245 2016 to 2018: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-2016-2018/comics-series/69142 Agents of Wakanda (2019 - current ): https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-And-The-Agents-Of-Wakanda-2019/comics-series/133561 Flags of our Father mini: https://www.comixology.com/Captain-America-Black-Panther-Flags-Of-Our-Fathers-2010/comics-series/4076 Vs Deadpool (2018): https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-vs-Deadpool-2018-2019/comics-series/122024 Long Live the King (2017 - 2018): https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-Long-Live-The-King-2017-2018/comics-series/107606 Sound and Fury one shot (2018): https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-The-Sound-And-The-Fury-2018/comics-series/111031 BP and the Crew (2017): https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-And-The-Crew-2017/comics-series/89688 World of Wakanda (2016-2017): https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-World-of-Wakanda-2016-2017/comics-series/81070 Rise of BP (2018): https://www.comixology.com/Rise-of-the-Black-Panther-2018/comics-series/109611 Marvel Action Black Panther: https://www.comixology.com/search/items?search=marvel+action+black+panther&subType=SINGLE_ISSUES Marvel's Black Panther Prelude: https://www.comixology.com/Marvels-Black-Panther-Prelude-2017/comics-series/104016?ref=c2VhcmNoL2RldGFpbC9kZXNrdG9wL2xpc3Qvc2VyaWVzU2VhcmNoRGV0YWlsTGlzdA Black Panther 2099: https://www.comixology.com/Black-Panther-2099-2004/comics-series/107945?ref=c2VhcmNoL2RldGFpbC9kZXNrdG9wL2xpc3Qvc2VyaWVzU2VhcmNoRGV0YWlsTGlzdA Shuri https://www.comixology.com/Shuri-2018-2019/comics-series/121842?ref=c2VhcmNoL2luZGV4L2Rlc2t0b3Avc2xpZGVyTGlzdC9zZXJpZXNTbGlkZXI Killmonger https://www.comixology.com/Killmonger-2018-2019/comics-series/124018 Doomwar https://www.comixology.com/Doomwar-Vol-1/comics-series/3917 X-Men crossover issues https://www.comixology.com/X-Men-2004-2007-175/digital-comic/1146 https://www.comixology.com/X-Men-2004-2007-176/digital-comic/1147 Wakanda Forever Titles: https://www.comixology.com/Avengers-Wakanda-Forever-2018/comics-series/119511 https://www.comixology.com/X-Men-Wakanda-Forever-2018/comics-series/118001 https://www.comixology.com/Amazing-Spider-Man-Wakanda-Forever-2018/comics-series/116846
  6. I'm in charge of a huge f'off mechanised suit of armour... time to leave my scantily clad body hanging out the front of it
  7. Fancied putting together something a bit Cthulh'esque to hold some of my RPG dice - this is the end result (crap phone camera doesn't do it justice really)
  8. What an absolute shocker, such terrible news. In the age of internet rumours and gossip over every little thing, the fact that this was kept hidden for so long has made it even more of a shock.
  9. This looks amazing, can't wait - hoping it will be this years Watchmen equivalent for great telly. Also Yogsothoth for the season finale or complete bust! (I've not read the book or anything, so have no idea).
  10. I've had pretty good service from Thirsty Meeples the few times I've used them for some Arkham Horror stuff. Always quick to dispatch and well packaged - postage always feels a bit steep though. Zatu's prices are good but their pre-order system really annoys me. I refuse to pre-order or order anything marked as a restock as they take the money straight away. In the current climate I'm not doing that and they really need to think again about it (even if they just took a small deposit instead of wanting the whole thing up front for something that could be months down the line). Also their pricing can be a bit scalper'ish. I've watched an Arkham Mythos pack go from £11 up to £30 in the space of a few weeks as they started getting lower on stock. Also anecdotal tales elsewhere (okay, it was on BGG) that if you leave stuff in your basket then the price mysteriously starts to creep up. Not seen that myself but always something to bear in mind if you're using them.
  11. I've fallen down a bit of a Blackstone rabbit hole looking at the game on Youtube. These speed paining guides are brilliant and the results really good - most of the techniques and washes are well within my capabilities after spending the last few years fixing paint defects and customising Marvel Legends figures
  12. I like the look of that - reminds me a little of Space Crusade / Space Hulk (another part of my youth) but with more modern play mechanics. The character designs just ooze that usual Warhammer 40k level of cool too. Not too sure of the price-point though seeing as I've already spent a load on Arkham Horror stuff of late. Still playing my way through that but fancy something else to break it up a bit.
  13. In a vein attempt to further recapture my youth I've been looking at Heroquest style games. I did think of picking up FFG's Descent 2nd Edition but I'll be playing mostly solo or two players at most (whenever I can persuade my partner to sit down for an hour or two and play). Looks like there's tonnes of content for Descent but really disappointed to find out the app for GM--less play doesn't cover the campaigns in the box and are separate (and you even have to pay extra for some of them). I think you can get fan made modules that act as a stand in but they need a lot of extra cards and management as a result. Also it looks like it's getting increasingly hard to get hold of anything outside of the Core box (possibly due to the new Legends of the Dark box FFG teased this week). I've wondered if Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion might be a better alternative. I don't think I'm ready for full on Gloomhaven and it sounds like JotL makes introducing the way game easier and can be played completely solo without any extra finagling. I think I'm slowly talking myself into JotL but anyone have any views on either, or any alternatives I've overlooked?
  14. I've had Alone against the Flames sitting here for a bit waiting for me to have some time to give it a run through. Seems a bit silly saying this when I haven't played the solo adventures that are available yet, but I really wish Chaosium would do more of them.
  15. Figures that The Batman Who LMAO is a Marilyn Manson fan.
  16. Not ashamed Massively ashamed to say it took me 6 months to get through the demo I was so shit scared. Still haven't put myself through playing the full thing Played tonnes of other stuff like this in the past and never been phased (even enjoyed the odd jump scare after the fact - I completed Outlast and that's panic inducing on times). But there's something about RE7 that just gets under my skin. I need to get a grip and play it though, as VIIIage looks brilliant.
  17. Spoilered as very sweary, but.... speaking of sound effects...
  18. Nice one @jonamok, ordered Looks like stock is starting to trickle back in in a few places too
  19. I've been bitten by the Arkham Horror bug. If anyone has any of the LCG stuff that they want to get rid for a sensible price please let me know. At the moment I'm after; - Circle Undone Deluxe - any of the Path to Carcosa Mythos packs - The Miskatonic Museum Mythos Pack - the standalone adventures Would rather buy off someone here than people trying to charge a 200% markup
  20. Looks like the Forbidden Planet outage is because they were the victims of a cyber attack
  21. Looks like it's just been a case of treating your customers poorly during a time of uncertainty and causing unnecessary panic. They do know that Twitter / Facebook doesn't run on their network?
  22. If they are still there it's a hell of a way to annoy your customer base.
  23. Noticed it was down the other day when looking for something, didn't realise it was a longer term thing. Reading the posts on Facebook/Twatter, in the current climate, I'd say that's not looking very good. Though someone pointed out that Titan Books is linked to them; their website is also down at the moment but they're still posting stuff on Twitter. edit: Companies House still shows they as Active, so may still be going.
