  1. My Radukar took a lot of join filling to get him to look right and his Hat / Hair thing still isn't as it should be I get the feeling Kritza is turning up in a Cursed City expansion at some point so I just know I'm going to be turning the air blue. I've spent the afternoon putting some Warband sets together - bloody brilliant tooling on some of them. The Darkoath and Sepulchural Guard were a joy and they hide some of the joins brilliantly. When GW nail the scuplts, they really nail them. I'd be interested to see how you get on as I was looking at kit-bashing something together at one point. There was a third party Chaos Commissar that might have helped fit the bill with a head swap, and I even thought about using some Necromunda stuff. Stuff like this is so cool:
  2. Ah, cheers - says still 'Preparing to ship' so I guess I've got to sit tight and keep waiting.
  3. Definitely - CMON support seem to be suggesting that they view the inserts as disposable so likely won't be replaced, but the Sentinels are a whole different thing. Any idea what backer numbers you were @LiMuBai @Munkienut? I'm just over the 2500 mark, and trying to work out if I should be alarmed that I still haven't heard a peep about dispatch or delivery.
  4. For a change from Sigmar stuff I started putting together some of the Blackstone Fortress enemy mini's today. Lovely sculpts to the Traitor Guardsmen and Beastmen (love the Ur-Ghuls - so basic but so cool looking) but what a night and day difference they all are so far in terms of construction when compared to the Cursed City ones. So far they actually push fit together better (and are less gappy) than almost all of the Cursed City stuff. Haven't even needed to refer to the instructions for them yet, whereas Cursed City left me scratching my head a bit even with the instructions in front of me. edit: I eventually managed to snag the Traitor Command models and expansion separate from one another too (and saving myself anything from £130 upwards in the process!). Hunting around for the models did open my eyes to see how cheeky some people are trying to pass recasts off as legit models. Trying to find that Chaos Ogryn and Commissar led me down the murky path of looking at recasts (surprisingly easy to source them if you're persistent) but at least with those they were OOP and I knew what I was buying. But seems some people had no qualms about buying them and then hocking them on Ebay for upwards of four times the price claiming they are the real thing.
  5. I am teh jelous - still impatiently waiting for my all-in to even be dispatched Hopefully this week is the week for me! Out of interest any damage to your inserts or mini's? I see lots of people in the K'starter comments saying the inserts are brittle and have split or even disintegrated, ending up in some peoples Sentinels and other mini's arriving broken.
  6. I should have stuck with just the teaser - that felt like it was giving away a little bit too much. Looks good though, A24 are putting out some great stuff.
  7. Before I subject myself to the horrors of Ebay, anyone interested in the complete campaign cards for Arkham Horror: The Dunwch Legacy campaign? All the cards are sealed and from the newly release campaign box format, so will include all any errata changes. edit: Gone via Ebay. Took 2 Additional Horror in the process.
  8. If some kind soul has a copy of BSF: No Respite that they want to offload for a sensible price (not the insane Ebay prices), please let me know. I don't want the Plague marine models but really just the tokens, boards and cards. Oh, and if anyone has the models from the Traitor Command pack they would like the sell, I'd be happy to buy them for a reasonable price (not the current second hand price of £90... per model!!!!) /beggingforstuff
  9. I missed this until today but Blackstone Fortress' base game got a bit of a push again last month https://www.warhammer-community.com/2022/02/19/saturday-pre-orders-fafnir-rann-and-dominion-zephon-smash-their-way-out-of-the-black-library/ Is this typical GW practice and them just the clearing old stock? (the base game has still been available here for some time) I'm just wondering if this signals we could get the expansions reprinted too (bursting the inflated Ebay price bubble) cos I'm hankering for those without having to sell an organ.
  10. Tried the freezer - snapped off a wee, tiny tongue and then an arm at the bicep (and not the joint I wanted) Safe to say I need a more 'exotic' chemical approach as plain science just won't cut it.
  11. Anyone got tips for removing superglued parts from a mini? Got some second hand Khorne Bloodletters whose arms have been set to make them look like they're dabbing a sword into their own faces.
  12. If anyone's looking to reduce their pile of Sigmar-related shame I'd be interested in taking some specifc stuff off your hands. My problem is I only need a handful of certain types for a custom WH Quest campaign, so I'm after an odds and sods factions mixture including; Warning - BIG shopping list On sprue, already assembled, it doesn't matter - unpainted though as I'd rather do that myself. No surprise that Ebay is a complete cess pit for this sort of thing, where 4 or 5 singles will cost you just as much as a full boxed set.
  13. I'd say you'll get a least... ... ... 40k
  14. A long shot, but I don't suppose anyone's got a copy of Warhammer Quest: Shadows of Hamerhal they'd be happy to pass on for a reasonable price? Sorted
  15. Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly climb a mountain to drop a crusty old ring into a big fiery pit.
  16. Just caught up on this weeks - so this has sort of turned into a Clone Wars extension, but with live action instead of animation? And I'm really okay with that. Sure, it's all over the place and isn't the series we thought we were getting (or should have been getting - my inner nerd will probably never stop sulking about that) but it's still delivering some really cool stuff. I never really though we'd see this week's guest character in live action form, but there he was as a snarling, not to be messed with bad-ass.
  17. Probably hasn't got much time for such a complicated profession when he's fending off every nutter who wants to pinch his sword and be the latest heir of Mandalore. Distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical space ceremony!
  18. Anyone else thinking of joining CMON's latest, Marvel Zombicide? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cmon/marvel-zombies-zombicide Like all their campaigns it's an utterly obscene sum of cash if you want all in (especially when you factor in VAT and shipping on top!), but dammit some of those mini's are brilliant.
  19. Just caught up with this weeks - that was an amazing episode of The Mandalorian, now when are we getting the actual fifth episode of TBoBF? For me that highlighted everything that's been wrong with TBoBF from the first episode - pacing, production values, narrative... really feels bad that it needs to lean on the Mando crutch so hard, when Boba should have been enough to sustain his own series (and then some).
  20. Amazing. That's a real life "Poochie died on his way back to him home planet"
  21. I got mine last week from two different online retailers, so some might have been playing fast and loose with street dates. Mind you, one of those was from Hasbro Pulse and that got here Saturday. They were the only ones that seemed to have the first two expansions, everyone else had marked themselves as being sold out on preallocation due to Asmodee's usual antics. But oh boy, the wave of nostalgia that hit me when I opened the box and saw all those bits of plastic furniture!
  22. They've already had that team up by this point (the 'present day' scenes of him struggling to be a crime boss are set after Season 2 of The Mandalorian). I have a feeling the next few episodes of BoBF are going to act as a theme setter for Season 3 of The Mandalorian, especially around
  23. Ep. 4 definitely felt a lot better. The audio cue right at the end makes it obvious where this is going, but I kind of wish it wasn't and was doing things differently...
  24. Oh no. This feels like the kiss of death right here; I don't recall ever seeing something where this sort of thing promised and it actually delivered anything of real merit, let alone made me re-evaluate my opinions.
  25. I meant Fett's escape from the Sarlacc and his recovery afterwards
