  1. So, I watched episode 2 yesterday and couldn’t believe how poor it was. The lead is a charisma vacuum with no screen presence at all. The rest of the cast are almost as bad and the whole production looks cheap. So, I thought I’d try something else in the SW universe. This sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole. I started with the Obi Wan series which I binged in one go. I loved it! This then led to me watching the prequels today. I hated the first two but thought the third was ok. The CGI was awful in places. I doubt I will watch them again but it was interesting to see what all the fuss was about. Finally I watched Solo which was a welcome return to form after the prequels. I understood that this was poorly received but I thought it was very good. I might carry on with Andor but only if it’s on in the background.
  2. I thought the first episode was like watching paint dry. My past exposure to the franchise is the OT and the ST along with RO and a few Mandolorian episodes so I’m not a huge fan of anything.
  3. I suppose that, for me, they are easy to compare because they both started at the same time, are both fantasy tv shows, are both based on popular book series and are both mega hyped.
  4. Not a fan of this show so far. It seems very low budget compared to Rings of Power and the characters are boring/unlikable/both. The sex scenes scream of immature manchild plotting.
  5. I was a huge fan of the PS3 and certainly preferred it’s exclusives compared to the Xbox 360. That terrible controller was the only poor thing about it as far as I was concerned.
