Ooh, I actually have more RAM than I thought. Nice. But yeah, the CPU is a relic. It may well be a bottleneck, I wouldn't know. Is anyone getting this weirdness? I think it might be the result of them doing the sudden switcheroo. I'm not sure what it means by 2 ADD-ONS and clicking it gives me an installation failed.

Woah, that's exactly what I've got! It's surprising how many games still manage to run ok on it. The fans can make quite a noise, but they probably just need a good vacuuming. Anyway, it's good to hear Death Stranding works ok (if I can manage to get it ok it's in the bag).

I personally struggled to commit to them at the time, but I knew a lot of people that absolutely adored them. I still love the graphics/music/style/atmosphere. Btw, I'm pretty sure you need patches for widescreen and some other QoL improvements, so I'd look into that if you fancy playing them now.

I just gave it a bit of a spin and I'm not sure what I was expecting but I found it a bit of a let down honestly. Apple Arcade means it was/is a mobile game right? They really could've done with changing the controls. Having everything on one button makes it super finnicky and when the game introduces time pressures (sinking mud) the issue is compounded. Also, the camera not rotating 360 degrees in such a pretty game is criminal and I can't think of a reason why it would be restricted other than, again, a mobile hangover. Any ideas about tomorrow's offering? Fallout?

I always liked the Ikaruga artwork.

I know it's not a very popular opinion but I actually prefer the US version for its dynamic poses and rich use of colour.
