Sodom was probably cut from the Western release because it’s a reference to the destroyed biblical city. They used to be funny about religious references.
As for the Alpha series, I love them. I’ve got 3 of the 4 released arcade boards (I don’t have zero 2 alpha, which is interestingly the version on the SF collection on the Saturn and PS1, and is a pretty rare arcade game).
My personal favourite is Alpha 3, it’s probably my 2nd favourite Street Fighter game after 3rd Strike.

I was so close on the fifth one as well

I keep anything console or console game related, I don’t have the space for the boxes for other electronics.

Which Terminator game is it? Hopefully the Megadrive one, I had a quick go on that recently, and I'd be interested to hear the story behind it - it feels like it was developed in great haste.
I love that game, all 12 minutes of it. I had it as a kid, but the fight against the Terminator on stage 3 used to stress me right out so I hardly played it. It still gets my heart racing now0 -

I got the Atomic Purple Pocket in Spain when I was a kid. It was only a few years ago I realised it was a Japanese exclusive colour for the GB Pocket.

Fucking hell, $339, a Switch with two Joy Cons is only $299. This product has no chance.

The combat looks pretty janky, but I’ll definitely give it a go.

I’ve tried and tried and tried but I cannot get on with it, can’t pinpoint why whether it’s bullet speed or the visuals not agreeing with my eyes during play but I’m actually pretty gutted as I love the aesthetic, the music and everything about it really, and I double dipped on steam / switch too. But I absolutely SUCK at it. And it’s one people generally say is accessible. Bah! Clearly a me problem.
Meanwhile I’m really enjoying Crimzon Clover World Explosion again and feel almost ready to go for a 1cc. Boost mode is great fun and I’ve even been enjoying the alternative music.
I don't get on with Mushi either, love Futari, but the first game just doesn't agree with me.

Andro Dunos 2 is out on Steam now. Anyone else taking a punt on it? I'm a huge fan of all of Picorinne Soft's other games, and it doesn't look a million miles away from Infinos Gaiden, so I'm feeling confident it'll be fantastic.
Yeah I’ve got a pre-order in for Andro Dunos 2. I hope it’s better than the first game1 -

If it’s any consolation, someone sold me theirs (via eBay) around the same time for £235 with 6 games. The inserts on mine aren’t quite as nice though.4 -
Mine's not here yet, although they have got much better with my RG sub, unlike Edge which comes usually 2-3 weeks after stores get it.

Nice to see Brutal Deluxe celebrating in the bottom corner.

That'd make sense, something's gone drastically wrong with it. I just assumed the demo was a mess, surprised they released the full game like that.

Grim, that'd be one of the best games on the system if it actually worked properly.

I quite enjoy Mutant Rampage
It’s not a great system though, there’s a lot of duff games on it. I’ve only played the demo of Micro Machines, so I don’t know if the full version is the same, but it’s fucking terrible. It runs so painfully slow.

Would be a shame to have a top quality bvm and use composite on it…
Ah no, I’m talking about monitors that don’t have RGB. They’re often a lot cheaper as people don’t want them, but if you’re on a budget they often do a good job of making composite signals look far better than they have any right to look.0 -
@mwaawm Depending on what you're planning to use on your system, RGB isn't the be all and end all if you're on a budget. These production and broadcast monitors output composite pictures that are almost incomparable to what you're used to on a consumer TV.

I got mine as well, it is a really nice package it's in.

I assume Hyper Street Fighter II is the 2003 CPSII. I know it has access to all different 'versions' of the characters, but it's not my favourite SF2 game.
In fact, it looks like everything on there is from their CPSII board except Red Earth, which is CPSIII. That begs the question, where is Third Strike?

Looks like Deathsmiles I & II are getting a full PAL region release now for those who aren’t so keen on importing.
