  1. I love that people still think this is a Sony thing when really it's just Activision playing off people's sentimentality of all things nostalgic for the money. They've brought back Crash Bandicoot, and later this year they'll be bringing back World War 2. What will they (re)think of next!?
  2. Great start to season 2 and genuinely different enough to the source material to keep me intrigued to carry on watching to see where Rogen and Goldberg take this.
  3. He was great in M:I4 and John Wick. Way too young and another great loss RIP
  4. Any of the Lego games up to Marvel Super Heroes are good little coop games, after that the 'kit building' they introduced in levels gets a little tiresome and confusing with two players. Minecraft can be good fun in local coop as well if you play the survival mode. Really have to work together to get through each day. http://www.co-optimus.com/ is always a good place to check these things out.
  5. If I hadn't just upgraded my PS4 to a Pro and my PC to a beast I probably still wouldn't have to be honest as it doesn't offer me any real upgrades over my existing setup (I've got an XB1S and most of the Xbox One Games on W10Gaming on an i7 7700K GTX 1080ti PC (#willywaving), so my Microsoft's are all covered currently). Plus, the exclusives aren't there yet. Let's see what E3 2018 brings from MS and then I'll be able to make a more informed decision.
  6. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/chris-cornell-dead-soundgarden-audioslave-aged-52-a7742046.html Very, very sad news. I'm sat at work and still trying to process this. The Grunge Big Five (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam) played a big part in my youth, and now only Pearl Jam are left, This is just as shocking as when Bowie and Prince died last year. RIP
  7. Say what you want about Alien: Covenant, but, if by making this drek Ridley Scott helps to produce things like Mindhorn then I'm all for it Alien vs. Mindhorn next please.
  8. Powers Boothe was always amazing in pretty much anything he starred in, Deadwood especially so. His interactions with McShane and Olyphant in that series were legendary. RIP
  9. I really, really hope that another publisher picks up IO and exploits their franchises. I personally need sequels to all their games, I've loved Freedom Fighters, Mini Ninjas and even Kane & Lynch!
  10. Oh my! Fingers crossed that it's good AND he stars as Dredd!
  11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39875074 I only really know him from his Tarantino/Rodriguez works of recent years, but he was always watchable. RIP
  12. Darksiders 1 Warmastered Edition is on sale at Steam currently. http://store.steampowered.com/app/462780/Darksiders_Warmastered_Edition/
  13. Watched this yesterday and didn't feel disappointed at all. From the opening sequence to the the final credit sequence it was a joyous rollercoaster of emotions and action. The set pieces and designs of the environments again showed up a lot of the standard MCU films drabness. The soundtrack this time was a lot less inspiring than the first film though Tyler Bates work on the OST is once again great. The end had me feeling quite sad that this chapter was over, and at the same time exhilarated for the future of the Guardians in the wider MCU given that Infinity is the phase where it all collides. Oh and the cameos/Easter eggs were spot-on. Bit conflicted that Feige and Gunn have basically destroyed one of the best fan theories about the MCU, still at least it showed the existence of certain characters which was great. And there are threads laid which could bear some interesting outcomes later on if used right as well. Overall, for me it's probably top ten of all the MCU films, but not top three yet. This might change after a second viewing.
  14. I'm glad they've decided to make it a little less serious in tone, as Thor in the late 70s / early 80s comics was always colourful. I think it should be called Asgardians of the Galaxy though, well done @MDY

Yeah, it was a good start. There were a lot of callbacks to things from the previous series which were cleverly woven into this.
  16. Mostly known to people nowadays as the voice of Mr. Potatohead in the Toy Story franchise, but he was a long established comedian and film star, notably opposite Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland in Kelly's Heroes. Some of his comedy roasts were great (albeit they are of their time, if you catch my drift). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39520006
  17. This was just a great ending to an amazing series. Interested to see the next series especially given the post-credit scene. Also;
  18. This is the best X-Men thing ever; it's stylish, well acted, well written and more faithful to the source material than anything else released from the X-Verse so far. Episode 7 is just amazing. Only one more to go for this season
  19. No matter which games wins (Zelda), I think the real question is; has there ever been a Q1 with this many quality releases? Normally they cram everything into Q4 and we're all bleating about the massive and quick reductions games companies make to try and save face after we (or a relative who has bought it for a present) have laid out full price for it. Have publishers finally realised there are 9 other months in the year which people play videogames and that having the Xmas no.1 is not something to really care about?
  20. This was the best episode of Top Gear so far. The featurettes worked, the guest worked and the presenters are falling into a rhythm with each other, seemingly having more natural chemistry than Clarkson, Hammond and May had in the entirety of the first series of the Grand Tour.
  21. As much as I like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, it's so obvious that Steven Ogg should've been Negan from the start.
  22. DLC should be available to buy seperately soon. For premium, go here; http://www.cdkeys.com/playstation-network-psn/psn-addons-season-passes/battlefield-1-premium-pass-ps4 (like their Facebook page for an extra 5% off taking it down to £35.15).
  23. Yeah, I think it's confirmed already. Anyway, this is the most intriguing and enjoyable TV for me since the first series of Hannibal. I can't wait to see how it plays out, but I'm not sure if we'll get a series two as the ratings are quite low even for an FX new series (dipped to 750K from 1.62M). If it gets cancelled it'd be a real shame imo.
  24. The way this film ends ... Final Chapter my arse! I've no doubt Resident Evil 7 will be out in the next two to three years, just this film alone has made $240M worldwide on a budget of $40M.
  25. Damn! I'm sat watching him in the Training Day TV series thinking 'he needs to be in better stuff' and now the poor guy's dead RIP
