Although the retail games haven't been amazing, the combination of them, the marketplace, Arcade, the media integration and the overall dasboard & hardware design adds up to a fine package. Lets face it though, if you don't have broadband and a HDD (and arguably a high res display), it's just not worth it at this point.

486 Mb. Took about an hour for me on my 2mb line (not soo fast then). Not sure if the quit and restart thing which makes downloads jump to 50% actually speeds it up, but it's worth a shot I guess.

Does no one read the marketplace thread? Anyway, I'm quite impressed. Can't really comment on the gameplay and controls since I have no experiance of the series or boxing games in general. The visuals though are impressive, if obviously unfinished. Character models are stupidly detailed but a bit too shiny ala FIFA/PD0 - although it's more appropriate for sweaty boxers I guess. The animation defiantely needs work. The individual movements themselves are fine, but they jerk from one to another often, which takes away from the otherwise super realistic visuals. Also the facial animation is seems nonexistant - I wanna see some pain!. Lovely particle and slow-mo effects when it zooms in and blood comes spurting out of your opponents mouth.

Fight Night Round 3 demo is up in the US now - 486Mb. Any sign of it here?

TBH, it's probably easier to find a premium and sell off your core. That what I did anyway.
