  1. All things out of stock now. I wish they would allow preorders or ordering without stock. I want the GBA Mini, GB X7 cartridge and the 64 X7 cartridge.
  2. I ordered my Polymega from the european distributor in December 2020 and it got sent in February 2022. I think I got lucky as people are still waiting for theirs ordered in April 2020 but they ordered direct from Polymega so the distributor must have got some stock. I am still waiting for the extra modules (all 4) and an extra controller for each of them as well ETA currently unknown. The machine itself is glorious. I've got 39 Neo Geo CD games on their and 75 Saturn games so far. The convenience of having them all in one place in one machine under the TV is what I wanted. I know I could have built a mini PC and installed emulators etc... but that would have taken ages and I'm a lazy bastard 🙂 The UI as well is pretty slick and they have just added a music player that lets you play music from installed games. Overall I am really happy with it so far but they really need to get better at communicating with their customers
  3. I just got lucky. They do appear from time to time.
  4. Sorry to jump in but have you got instructions on how to set up the Mister with the USB drive?
  5. I've got 17 AES games and about 30 Neo Geo CD games. In the end I gave up trying to find individual cartridges for a reasonable price so bought a NeoSD from ebay and fully loaded an SD card. Now I can play the entire library on the original machine and with the Retrotink 5x it is glorious 🙂 The Neo Geo CD games have all been installed on the PolyMega so instant load times. I've got it covered 🙂
  6. I bought a Terra Onion NeoSD AES cart and a MegaSD cart from ebay instead. Boom. No money to them and I get what I wanted 🙂 Take that!!!
  7. Just preordered the double pack of the new carts. When I pre-ordered they only had that one up and not the one with the baseball cap. Still I suppose it won't make me look like a gurning faced youtuber 🙂
  8. I haven't bought any of the Next specfic games yet but I did buy the music maker one. I forget what it is called.
  9. I've just ordered the all singing version (Game Centre Blue Limited edition) from strictly limited games so it comes with the trackball, extra games, a control pad and a control panel (arcade stick) Also ordered an extra control panel (arcade stick) from Games Rocket because i don't like the look of the control pad's d-pad and I will probably be plugging this into the TV so 2 players will have the same controllers (which is nice). Due to arrive at some point in May. Very excited although it is a shame that games like Parasol Stars, Chase HQ etc... are missing but oh well. It is true that the western edition is limited to 5000 units?
  10. That is one of the ones I don't have. 🙂 I think you are right though. Probably best to sit on them
  11. Finally got hold of a Neo SD Pro (AES) with a microsd card full of AES and CD games. Hooked it up to the Retrotink 5x Pro. Glorious. Just need to get some extender leads and I'll be in heaven. I wonder if I should think about selling the 17 AES games I managed to amass.
  12. Thanks for confirming that. Hooray!!!! 🙂
  13. Quick question hopefully. I've got my MiSTer multi system all nicely set up for all the arcade and Neo geo stuff. Regarding Megadrive and SNES, Can I use normal ROMS or are they slightly different for the MiSTer?
  14. They seem to be shipping now more freely to preorder customers. I have to say it was a bit of a leap of faith but so far I am very impressed. It just works. I think a lot of people are going to be pretty suprised by it.
  15. Ah no, I had *cough* CD's of Shining Force 3 and the expansions with the translations on disc. The polymega didn't recognise them but allowed me to manually find the box art/info so that they appear in the list of games.
  16. I had the japanese cd already so it just installed. You can play off the disc (it copies it to the hdd whilst you play it) and when you eject the disc it removes it OR you can add it to the library and copy it on. Once done, you don't need the disc any more.
  17. Installed some more games today. Lots of Saturn titles mainly Japanese ones. It allowed me to install the fan translations of Shining Force 3 and so far the Saturn emulation looks pretty much bang on.
  18. OK, I set it up. All appears to be working thankfully. I did the updates. No boot loop issue which has affected some. CD drive seems to be reading discs well. (I've only started installing my Neo Geo CD games so far). Regarding Neo Geo CD games, the loading is instant so KOF99, Last Blade 1 and 2 load instantly and are now pretty much as speedy as the AES carts but have the enhanced audio. It does come with a few games installed (40 winks and Virus on PS1) + others. So far the emulation appears to be flawless. I haven't tried Saturn yet. I installed a 1tb SSD into the expansion slot with no problems. I've installed about 10 Neo Geo CD games so far and I still have 960gb left so it is looking good to be able to store a lot of games on it. The controller is OK. The D-Pad is a bit stiff. I think it is a rebranded 3rd party controller. I've got the extra modules (for SNES, Megadrive, PCEngine/TurboGrafx and NES) coming next month along with extra controllers although I might just stick to my 8bitdo ones depending on the quality. The box itself is smaller than I was expecting but has a bit of weight to it with an external power brick and there is some low fan noise. So far so good. If they can get the N64 module and the light guns out in a timely fashion, they could be onto a winner here. I hope they add 3DO support.
  19. I've still got my Next. I upgraded it to add the RTC, RAM etc.. but it has been sitting in its box for about a year. Just don't get the time at the moment but I am glad I have it.
  20. I'm going to be setting it up this weekend to make sure it all works and start installing my Neo Geo CD games
  21. C64. Bought from a car boot about 20 years ago. It got me into collecting. Before that I used to trade in the stuff I had for the latest and greatest.
