Pretty sure the game comes with a code so your cheap ass friend can play for free with you

ShopTo have this for £17.85 (digital) I’d usually go physical and resell after but that seems a good price

Thanks, good to hear. After being quite disappointed with Kiwami I was intending to just main line the story in Kiwami 2, but it has really surprised me with much better side quests, a gripping main story and of course the hostess club! Almost as good as 0 so far.

I’ve just finished Kiwami and immediately jumped into Kiwami 2. There’s a great catch up summary in the beginning of K2 in the graveyard with a recap of Kiwami’s story. Do Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 also have this recap? I honestly don’t know if I can be arsed to play them (played 4 and 5 years ago but can barely remember the story) and want to move on to 6 and Like a Dragon.

Empire of Sin is available now. I remember seeing this a while back and thought it looked great and right up my street, but the reviews are less than favourable. Anybody played it on PC?

Great explanation, many thanks

Well this is crack, not sure if I should thank rllmuk and @murray on TCGS for recommending it or not! Only played a few hour so far, what does ‘damage all’ mean on a shield?

Had an email from simply games about bundles and just went for one of those. Figured I can play the games through once (Cold War, Demons and WD Legion) and resell and make back a fair bit of the money. The extra controller I wanted anyway. At least the money isn’t going to a scalper. Very happy to be off the stock alert disappointment treadmill!

I literally could not have clicked any quicker through the smile website and still no luck, got as far as confirming delivery address

Can this be played totally solo? Is there pvp at all? -
The sound design is really quite something, especially with headphones on.
-
Played for 45 mins, I’m intrigued. Visuals are inconsistent, but mostly looks really nice. No problem so far with it being 30fps. Very atmospheric. Voice acting is ... ok.

Fucks sake, if you’re at work as a key worker you have no chance of getting one of these. Missed out on so many I’m not sure I even want one anymore!

See also Alien Isolation -
Shadow Tactics isn’t on GP anymore so go with Desperados
-
Donut County was great fun, like an inverse Katamari game. It has a level select after completion, which I used to get a few achievements I missed. Have just started Desperados 3, seems excellent so far. I was a huge fan of Shadow Tactics and this is very similar so far,

The Last of Us Part 2 - Now updated for PS5 for at 60fps

I do. I played the shit out of the first games MP. It was incredible! -
As far as I know it’s not the auto HDR thing, as when I booted the game with HDR on (have to turn it off for Cyberpunk lol) it had HDR options where you have to set the paper white level and peak brightness etc. However there doesn’t appear to be a way to go back to those settings in the menu.

Playing this from scratch on the Series X while my son is playing my Switch version. It looks so much better on Xbox, 60fps and a much better resolution. Not 100% sold on the HDR implementation, varies between appearing great and then a bit washed out. Looking back at the Switch version (which I thought great on release) in either handheld on docked and it looks so blurry, presumably 30fps and the longer load times. It’s also still incredible and up there as one the very best JRPGs of the last 5-10 years.

The Mandalorian - Season 2 (open spoilers for big surprises)
Nosejam replied to TehStu's topic in Film, TV & Radio
FUUUUUUUUUCK!! Second season was consistently brilliant and the last episode was the best Star Wars thing since the last 30 mins of ESB. Completely and utterly nailed it!
