  1. Too many spoilers dude, it's like a Bradshaw review, don't read his post if you don't want the film spoiled for you.
  2. Well that got pretty far out at the end, I loved episodes 1-5 but felt a little let down by 6. I felt like he did as much as he could with the budget, it definitely felt way more stripped down compared to TOTDY. Will gladly watch again, the score, the cinematography and lighting and the mise en scene just brilliant. Very atmospheric, very Lynchian overall.
  3. Well aside form the subtitle shit that was fucking excellent, the lighting reminds me of Pusher 2 which is possibly my favourite Refn and it's the most Lynchian thing I've seen him do. And man the score. Oh damn, I might have to watch another.
  4. Frankly I'm going to pirate the rest of the episodes as I have access to a decent private site where I can get good rips because the visual quality compared to Amazon for TOTDY is night and day, fucking netflix man!
  5. This is all I have on the app on my lg cx
  6. WTF I only have CC too, I'm on the mid tier if that makes a difference, whats going on with Netflix?
  7. Can concur, it is utter fucking shite. Even The Recruit which is also bad is way better than this turgid contrived badly written piece of crap. 0/5
  8. Review/Score dump of recently watched films: Triangle of Sadness - 5/5 : Definitely the best film I've seen all year, funny, clever and some glorious casting especially Zlatko Burić who you might recognise as Milo from the Pusher series. Decision to Leave - 4/5 : It's Chan Wook Park and hence it's dazzingly stylish but the story lets it down slightly, only slightly mind. The Banshees of Insherin - 4/5 : Another hilarious film but also a serious allegory on 'the troubles' and how stupid and damaging sectarianism can be, Colin Farrell is marvelous. Official Competition - 3.5/5 : Extremely well shot and acted though the plot was a little obvious for my liking. Cruz and Banderas are always great together. Tar - 3.5/5 : Shot in the European arthouse style which I love and Cate Blanchett is magnificant but a little heavy when it lands it's blows and it seems to get confused with which blows it is landing. Funny Pages 3/5 : Love the way this one is shot, proper grimy and revels in New York weirdos, just falls flat at the end unfortunately. Glass Onion 3/5 : Enjoyable enough but a popcorn flick and not one I'd care to revisit, Janelle Monae is fantastic as always.
  9. It’s terrible. Even in my severely hung over state yesterday I couldn’t bear the dull shite that this show is. One to miss.
  10. It seems very very puzzle heavy to me, all I ever seem to be doing is environmental puzzles. Fights last a minute or so on normal and then it's back to more puzzles. All I'm asking is does the puzzle to fight ratio change?
  11. So does it get less shitty puzzle heavy or not then?
  12. Finally got out of Vanaheim last night and went back to Alfheim to get past the bit you couldn't previously, now in the burrows doing more environmental puzzles. 75% of this game is shitty environmental puzzles so far, please tell me that changes as I'm really not getting the love for this tedious game play? 6/10 at best for me so it really needs to change significantly for me to start enjoying it and bear playing it for longer than 20 minutes.
  13. Goddamnit I’m weak I watched both new episodes and they were excellent.
  14. You must absolutely watch Patriot.
  15. I hate the way that apple release stuff weekly, this show is too good to only watch one a week. I’m going to be patient but it also means finding something else to watch when I could be watching this!
  16. God this is tedious. Fire pink arrows, explode with blades. Fire pink arrows, throw axe. 10/10...
  17. I'm finding this a right slog to get through unlike the first game which once it opened up I enjoyed immensely till the end. I'm in the post main mission section of Vanaheim and it's all so samey, does it get much different beyond this point? It feels like unnecessary padding to me and the sense of exploration isn't there like the first game, it feels much more like a corridor action game like Uncharted which I also find tedious.

Yeah I had an amazing time thanks, Dublin is great, very vibrant and buzzy. I didn't get too drunk during the show like in London and I was quite close to the stage and could see the band. Only downside was I happened to be surrounded by a bunch of 20 somethings who clearly didn't know the tunes or were that into it so whilst I was going wild like many other people in the crowd I was surrounded by fucking mannequins, kids these days are so lame. But yeah it was great, an amazing tracklist and a really good venue. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
  19. Yes. Poor Queenie. Loves her dogs though.
  20. Wow this is shady as fuck. I upgraded to extra when Stray came out as it was a few quid which seemed like a nice deal. Now I would like to renew with just essential with the 25% discount and quelle surprise it won't let me, oh I can upgrade and get the 25% or I can be stuck with Extra for another year for £63. Absolute scumbags, I'm going to think on it before deciding now.
  21. Now I've got some good gear and a bunch of moves I've put the difficulty up to hard and the combat has become way more fun, the enemies are better too in the second big area.
  22. West as Charlie is just so wrong. Lesley Manville is brilliant though, in fact all the actresses that have played Princess Margaret have done a stellar job. I feel like she's the heroine of the piece.
  23. Thanks for explaining, I'll keep at it even though I have my preferred moves. It is a good way to highlight and get the player to experiment but it's also a bit grindy for the moves I don't particularly like!
  24. What do you get for getting certain moves to gold tier, because some of them are incredibly cumbersome such as charge the frost on the axe and whilst doing it aim and fire. I find I'm going into fights and just trying to do certain moves to move them up tiers but I don't know why except for number go up? As for the game I'm only 8 hours in, it's entertaining enough in short bursts but I quickly become tired of the constant puzzle sections and then short fights. I'm hoping this is just filler for the beginning and it gets more exciting.
