I've equipped weapons, but still don't know how to use them!

I now have the chicken! Yes, I'm still on chapter 10.

I need to find the chicken! I felt like I'd completed a lot of Kiyru's side stories and then looked and saw I'd only completed 29/60 so far.
  4. Transfer window hasn't opened and we're a laughing stock already. What the hell are they doing?

Oooohhhh, I don't have a chicken working for me!
  6. We could easily save a good chunk of that 60 million. Just find out who Southampton plan to sign to replace VVD and cut out the middle man! I see the transfer market speculation is in full bonkers mode as apparently Roma want £40 million for Salah, which we won't pay, but are now interested in some fast winger at Sporting Lisbon who has a £50 million release clause. Transfer prices are absolutely insane.
  7. Is that even possible once the complaint has been lodged with the FA? I would have thought that once the complaint has been received then FA rules apply and the clubs are only involved in providing evidence to support their position.
  8. That sounds more like supporter talk, than business talk to me. I'd wage they don't care who buys their players, as long as the approach is made within legal boundaries and they club is willing to pay what they want. If they've reported us to the FA I think it's clear to say they think we've crossed a line.
  9. If we're caught then it's all our own fault and we deserve what ever punishment we get. Amateur hour stuff. I also don't see how in any shape or form this helps Southampton leverage a better deal. It's not like we are known to be the only club interested in the player. If anything it might make Southampton more willing to do a deal with another club if they think we're fucking them about.
  10. I enjoyed that one. It does fall off towards the end due the wanky boss fight, but overall very enjoyable. Great chemistry between the leads in it too.

    Yakuza 0

I'm 40 hours in now. In testament to how much I'm enjoying it, after my initial reservations, it really doesn't feel like I've played it for that long at all. I don't own a Switch yet, but something like this would be perfect for that platform.

I really need to stop fucking about on side quests or I'm never going to finish this game. I'm still on chapter 10!
  13. I'm really enjoying the new Benjamin Booker album. It's been a good year so far.
  14. I've not seen anything of Italian football recently, so have no idea what Salah is playing like. If he's playing like dogsout suggests he sounds exactly like the sort of player we need. This does look like it'll be funny money time in the transfer market. City have already spent an absolute fortune. It'll be interesting to see what moves we make this summer.
  15. I have to admit I've seen nothing of him from his time at either Celtic or Southampton that justifies that sort of price tag. He always appeared to be one of those defenders who is better attacking than defending, which is the last thing we need. The money wanted for Salah is bonkers too. The transfer market is beyond fucked.
  16. He'd be mad to go there from Burnley. He might get a bigger transfer pot to work with and arguably start with a stronger squad, but at Burnley you feel he'd need to have a nightmare to get sacked. At Palace a bad month and he'd be gone.
  17. It would be great to have him come good for us, but you always fear the worst when a player has lost a couple of years through injuries.
  18. I thought Ings would have been a good squad player when we signed him. It's a shame for the lad that he got crocked early on and then again when he was just starting to get fit again. If he does go this summer I'd wish him all the best and hope he can get back to the sort of form he showed at Burnley.
  19. I'm not a FIFA fan or Switch owner yet, but a fully fledged sports game is perfect for a platform like the Switch. These games can be massively time consuming, so the ability to play when and where you want is ideal. I'd be all over something like the Master League in PES, or franchise mode in Madden on a platform like the Switch. Any Nintendo fan complaining at the thought of getting high profile traditional games that appear on other consoles are completely bonkers. The larger and more diverse the library the better for all.

Ouch! I would probably have rage quit if that had happened to me.
  21. Don't know anything about the kid, but hopefully he comes good. Although in recent years this has been the sort of signing that we all forgot he had signed for us until we see we've released them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can attract some developed players to come right into the team, rather than loading up on potential again.

    Yakuza 0

I'm really enjoying the game now. I've sunk more time into this game than anything else I've played in recent years. When I last looked I think I'd clocked about 35 hours playing this and in many a story driven game I've enjoyed I'd be looking for the game to wrap-up by then, but with this I'm on chapter 10 and in no rush to push through to the end. I think coming to the series with little information about how it played meant I was jarred about a good few things in the first chapter. A lot of the mechanics of the game are very dated, but now that I'm involved in the game I don't really notice that any longer, but initially that did throw me a bit. I'm not sure if the game didn't clear some things up for new users, or if I missed it, but not knowing how to replenish health and that first big fight at the end of that chapter had me struggling. Once again coming from most modern games I think I had incorrectly thought it would be auto-regenerating or something like that. I also think chapter one was slow in that it sets the story out, but the likes of following Nishki around holding down a button to do so while some things are explained also didn't set the tone for me early on. Once I got to chapter two and the game opened up and I had been given pointers here about the game I quickly got to start enjoying it and quickly learned to love it. I do think though that early on the game can come as a real culture shock to people new to the series.

I'd happily buy a Majima cabaret management game. I get far too pleased at getting those ice, drinks and ashtrays to the tables!

Initially I was a bit thrown when it switched to Majima, but I actually find his story arc the more interesting of the two.
