I didn’t think they were doing PS Plus cards anymore, if so is that just credit, if so how much?

Unless it was an issue with the servers which is now fixed, putting it on the SSD has reduced the load times a lot. In the end I didn’t buy it in the sale, although I’m enjoying the cars, I’m not sure I want to race planes and boats. Also there doesn’t seem anyway to map the controls and having manual gears on L1/R1 doesn’t work for me. I’ll probably pick it up in the future though.

What are the load times like, they’re awful in the PS4 trial I’ve downloaded? Going to try it later on PS5 SSD to see if that helps.

For those new to PS, once you have PS Plus don’t forget to add the monthly games to your collection each month, you don’t need to download them. Once added they’re yours to keep/play as long as you’re subscribed. I downloaded the PS4 Crew 2 Trial on PS5 last night as it’s currently cheap in the sale. However, the load times are horrendous, I might try moving it off the external USB onto the SSD to see if that helps but I wonder if it’s Ubisoft server issues. Doubt I’ll be buying it though. Hope remains with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, although it’s been very quiet on that front.

I expect they’re hoping it’ll be a bit of a halo item, something that’ll attract people to PlayStation, even if they don’t initially purchase VR.

There is and if anything it suffers from it a little as it does get a bit repetitive. Because of that it’s a game I dip in and out of rather than play through but I do really enjoy it in a short bursts, the DLC is smaller and a bit more focused and I’m happy to buy it having got the main game via PS Plus. Senna could’ve easily been a small standalone game, I love the story/history through it.

Just grabbed the Senna DLC in the PS sale, another great mode. It’s crazy though, on PS only 0.3% of people have completed Chapter 1 of the Senna Career, 7 races that probably take about 30mins. I guess it must be 0.3% of all players rather than just those who have DLC? Bit of a shame if the DLC hasn’t sold well, as said above it feels like a real passion project.

Yep, it’s a shame it’s not on consoles too, I have the basic EA Play which is still great value and discounts 10% on new purchases, usually used on FIFA and F1. Have to be patient with releases though.

I didn’t get my act together to do this, guess I’ll just wait until this version drops back to that price in a sale. I’ve still got loads to do in H1 and H2 anyway.

That similar to how I feel but the reason I’ve not gone for PSVR2 (other than cost, which is a bit high vs use for me) is that I don’t want to be regularly wearing a VR headset, which I would end up doing with GT7. They’re too hot in the Summer and I’m just not sure about frequent use vs eyesight. Setup of PSVR1 was never really an issue as I have the breakout box and camera permanently plugged in and most of the games I play are with a controller rather than Move. Maybe one day though as I expect GT7 will be awesome.

That’s fine, I don’t think her portrayal is bad in any way, but for me, Pedro is Joel but Bella is not yet Ellie.

So irritating that they lock it behind Premium, not that I want to download a full game for only 2hrs.

I’m not sure I agree with that, yet, can’t quite put my finger on it though, general mannerisms and expressions perhaps. Early days though and it’s probably just a case of getting used to her portrayal vs game character.

Been looking forward to this for ages, it didn’t disappoint, great start. Must resist buying Part 1!

When’s Forza due out, I thought they showed that ages ago?
