Whilst Pungee's advice is sound, I'd suggest BLM first. You can get your BLM to level 18 (and get a sunjob) far more easily than a WHM. Once you have subjobs' avaialble, switch up to WHM and level to 30. using WHM and BLM sub. Sorry to disagree there Pungee.

I certainly feel choicobo's is an area that needs reviewing. There must be strong reason - possibly gaming balance - as to why they made chocobo's so difficult to get. I giuess it also makes it easier to move into areas above your level.

I think you'd have a better time with just one character actively on the go. Pick one and go with it. I'm pretty sure Caramon had two character's at one and he ditched one in favour of another - make ssense as there is so much to do and you can do all the quests and mission by changing city allegiance later on.

I'm very lucjky. Big Monday Great linkshell party – 13-15 with minimal fuss and a dinner break. How often do those work? I was thinking about l/s parties and their relative quality, which is much higher. I was trying to work out what elements in these parties that lead to a well run group. Is it that our l/s has superior gamers? Could it be that we all discuss strategy (theoretically on link in downtime) and see ourselves as more of a team – or could it simply be that we have slightly more respect and are willing to give someone a break if they are doing something unusually – maybe a mix. Any of you chaps have any thoughts? Back in to the field with our newly armoured WHM – lovely bit of Holy Plate armour – and we dash to get some subjob items – took about 4 Bull’s for the saliva and 2 bogy’s and I’m all tooled up – we still had enough time to whip my character into shape and level 16… We also managed to get another WHM into our l/s – doesn’t get too much better than that.

Kai, make sure you get the quests for spoeels completed. Drain etc are very expensive and can either save you money, make you money or fund expensive WHM spells. The mysterytour link has the best walkthroughs on these quests, though they require some levle of fame.
