  1. There's something funky with geographical server ping at the moment for sure but if you stick with 'Default Server' as your selection, summoning should work. I guess default is what most players are using and so the pool of players using summons is much greater. I'm usually summoned within minutes, often quicker. But also keep in mind the soul level restrictions around summoning too.
  2. Like yourself, I picked Wanderer. Opted for using spears for now. I shield and I poke. But I haven't bothered with magic this time around at all and have instead gone down the Quality build route. If you are dabbling in magic though, yes, Soul Ray is very handy to have.
  3. The original 2010 release is, in my opinion, the best thing Criterion Games has ever put out. And chance to play the online modes again...? Sign me up!
  4. What's going on with the opponent AI in that video? They seemed oblivious to the existence of the player's car and spent most of the race grouped up, knocking seven bells out of each other Or is that multiplayer footage? Players and AI racing together maybe?
  5. That xbox game pass logo on the release date trailer is pretty confusing if its still not confirmed for game pass
  6. Just like @Thor, years ago I used to work with a guy who had an odd way of pronouncing it. He would occasionally mention it as being one of his favourite games ever and was always surprised each time I said I'd never heard of it. After about the 3rd or 4th time he brought it up, I asked him to describe it. It was at that moment I finally realised what "Juicex" was.
  7. I have definitely enjoyed my time with this but I do think it lacked a certain something. Watching the credits roll, I couldn't help but feel that the gameplay never really evolved as much as I was hoping. The component parts are all there and and its technically impressive but as a whole, there's a ever-present feeling of shallowness that never quite went away in my 6 or so hours playing.

    Outer Wilds

Aligning to a planet is easy to do manually but yeah, knowing exactly when to start slowing down is next to impossible. Just stick with auto-pilot. I ended up playing through all of Outer Wilds over the weekend and was blown away by it. It's comfortably in my top ten games of all time and I think it stands shoulder to shoulder with games like Portal when it comes to innovation in game design. It's also an exceptional example of explorative story telling and an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.

    PC Engine Mini

It's possible. Though I have just read that the official Pi4 PSU is overvolted slightly despite what the spec might say in some places (it runs in excess of 5V at times). That is deffo reason enough to not use it on anything other than the Pi4. So yeah, I stand corrected - don't use the official Pi4 supply!

    PC Engine Mini

As long as the voltage/polarity on the power supply matches what the PC Engine Mini requires and the amperage on the power supply matches or exceeds what the PC Engine Mini requires, it will be absolutely fine. So if your power supply is 5v 3a USB, it can be used with a device that runs on 5v 2a USB.
  11. Request sent. May I pop over to sell my nips?
  12. Thanks for keeping the gates open!
  13. Makes a change to running around in your underpants in MMOs! I've not had much experience with Animal Crossing games (I think played some of Wild World?) and I'd not really put a good amount of time into this one. Until today that is. Man, once it gets it hooks into you, it hard to put it down. I don't really know what I'm doing but I am having a ton of fun doing it. So much so that I renewed my expired Nintendo Switch Online today to do jump into the online side. So if anyone wants to add me, feel free! My switch code is: SW-0860-0181-4149
  14. I just had a very quick go with Metro Last Light using a pad. I'm a massive sceptic when it comes to this sort of cloud based streaming thing but I was pretty damn impressed if I'm honest. And while I'm not sure anything M+K driven would be quite as acceptable, I think I could very easily play through a bunch of single player stuff (with a pad) using this.
  15. So is Atlas no longer a steaming pile of broken cash-grab shite or can we expect a steaming pile of broken cash-grab shite on Xbox too?

    Megadrive Mini

The hacking community will very likely get OTG support running on it. At which point you can just load all your roms onto an external micro SD. If the PlayStation Classic (Autobleem) and Snes mini (hakchi2) are anything to go by, picking up a MD Mini will be more than worth the asking price once its cracked open.
  17. Glad to hear this has turned out to be excellent on console. Fingers crossed my PS4 copy turns up on Monday! And hopefully the console's online mode has seamless matchmaking rather than being server based like it was on PC. But either way, if its half as fun online as Flat Out Ultimate Carnage was, I'll be very happy indeed.
  18. Nah. People often sign up to a forum to take part in discussing a favourite game or service in a particular thread and are only active there to begin with. I did the same thing in 2010 with AvP. Only the mods at the time banned me with no contact; they just assumed I was a pr plant when I was just an enthusiastic poster Maybe try not to be so cynical?
  19. Those struggling with low voltage usb sticks should take advantage of the bleemsync OTG hack. If you do, you'll be able to run the system from usb sockets on your TV etc (meaning you'll no longer need a usb to 3pin plug adaptor). But the main benefit is being able to connect your usb storage via the micro usb socket on the back of the classic with an OTG cable. All usb storage works when connected there. No more power related restrictions. I stuck a 400gb micro sd card in mine and it works a treat. Thing is though, as nice as Autobleem is for it's ease of use and slick presentation
  20. Oh dear. Some of us do indeed have some perspective. I'm not sure you do though if you're gonna stoop to throwing shit like this at people over it. You really, really hate Valve. We get it. Chill out.
  21. I've only just noticed I was billed £20 for another sub too. I didn't opt out of marketing either. Its not that you didn't get the email - there was no email.
  22. What did you do that fixed it? I've had mine about a month, a brand new V2, and the PS4 UI tilt appeared about a week ago. It very noticeably tilted to the left. I tried initialising the PS4 back to default settings but it didn't work.
  23. He's might struggle with wolves without his party members revealing that they hunt in packs! I reinstalled this on PC about a week ago but have yet to start playing again as I was holding off to see how the Switch version performed. Also, I can't really see myself picking up from where I left off on PC and will likely start over again - I've owned this game 4 times already and still never managed to finish it. So how does it run on Switch? I know its 30fps compared to uncapped on PC but other than that, I'm assuming its a good port?
