  1. Sam Sodje, Akpo Sodje and Cristian Montano are the 3 at the heart of the English match fixing claims. Be interesting to see more names come out and the respective punishments doled out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25288657

  3. Three good articles on MLS out recently if you're in to that sort of thing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24843600 http://www.buzzfeed.com/djpeisner/the-low-budget-high-pressure-life-of-an-mls-rookie http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24751629
  4. Saw a lot of Dawkins in MLS when he was with San Jose and he always looked like a clever player - always looking to attack. Cissé was a bust at New England at MLS, but he was solid at Bristol City. Good win for Forest in a pretty tight game. We're still woefully inconsistent though.
  5. So Michael Bradley scored a late goal for Roma at the weekend. Now here's the commentary.
  6. Simon Cox disappoints again. I had high hopes for that guy.
  7. New Manchester date just added too. http://www.seetickets.com/tour/neutral-milk-hotel/

Couple of decent shouts in MLS tonight. D.C. United at home to to Chicago are at 4's. D.C. have been bad in the league, but won the cup this week and Chicago aren't great on the road. Montreal are at 4.9 away to Houston. Houston are very strong at home, but Montreal are much the better team and beat them 5-0 at home last month. Worth a punt at those odds. Edit: Maybe scrap the D.C. bet after seeing their line-up.

Think they were at 2.5 pre-game. Around that area. Had Atletico to win, but bet on Charlton to beat Forest, which they didn't. Chuff.
  11. Fair to say he and Forest got a lot of stick from the Derby fans when he was in charge. Those guys are going to be well miffed. Bants.
  12. You say that now, but wait until you sign Ishmael Miller, Matt Derbyshire and a 94 year old George Boateng. Nah, he was setup to fail at Forest when Doughty appointed him. He was clearly promised things that never came to be and the fans were never really behind him. I think he'd do alright at Derby given a bit of time and funding. Starting watching YouTube videos of obscure Dutch footballers now.
