    Edge #345

Thanks for everything Nathan! P.s. Gouging bastards! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDGE-Magazine-345-Jun-20-FEEL-BETTER-Subscriber-Edition-Cover-Zelda-Mario/254579740719?hash=item3b4622902f:g:qAgAAOSw51xeocqf Would have liked a physical copy of this, seems to be sold out.
  2. I remember thinking this was just about the coolest thing I ever had encountered in my life, on release.
  3. Decent switch charging cables, I've always used my generic usb-c, but apparently not a good long time plan?
  4. Tim Key seems incredibly underused in this. The "files not found" thing is lame, especially the second time around
  5. It was that mission early on with the jail break - where his mate "needs to go and settle a score", so they both kill what , 50 people? And it's all played off as "oh you rascal, always dragging me into scrapes".. it's not proper writing.
  6. Amongst everything this put me off playing more than a couple of hours, I have no will to pick the disk back up. It's the same old "lol loadsa story" - but then kill 50 people in cold blood thing that gaming is weighed down by, which is made worse by the faux intellectualizing of what's going on. Does he have to kill 50 people every-time? It makes "no russian" seem clever.
  7. I need to stop playing computer games
  8. I have my memory card, I might bloody get back into it! Aside (or maybe this is the answer) from wii+wavebird and original disk, is there a better version of the original MP out there?
  9. That's the one! Well I didn't bump into any of them/knew they existed....
  10. It's bugging me, I even started to read the walk-through on gamefaqs to try and remember. I just recall getting to a point where i'd not scanned enough stuff or done something enough at the end of every area (aside from killing the bosses) that meant I couldn't.. complete the game. Maybe I was doubly confused and it wasn't necessary
  11. No no, it was a thing you had to collect from all the areas you'd been to, or something, that because i'd not gone into that room I just hadn't done... I need to work this out
  12. Dad brought home Doom 2 Shareware on floppy disk, I was 8, loved it obviously. It's weird now as I have ~that age nieces and nephews and the thought of them shooting stuff in the face seems so odd... but it didn't do me any harm? Or did it? It's a minefield as a parent i'd imagine.
  13. I remember on the first GC Metroid game getting very far through then realizing I hadn't been collecting something or doing something which essentially meant complete backtracking. So i gave up. I don't remember the details, but I remember feeling cheated due to a tutorial/guiding failure. Does anyone remember what i'm talking about?
  14. Very kind offer, are you upgrading? No idea what postage is on such things
  15. So much space though aren't they! Has anyone found a small solution for this, I did see some trim looking crt monitor setups but seems a minefield to get something decent. I've got the itch to get one as it's annoying seeing an incredibly awful n64 picture Any pics of non massive setups would be good!

  17. £220 isn't the break even point, the break even point is much higher due to overheads. Not sure what you're struggling with here Angel. You can argue they've for the exact number wrong, but you probably don't understand their pricing/buying algorithms and it seems fairly unlikely that you have better insight than they do

Got a bit stuck around 10 - and had some quests for rogue so switched to this: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/381621-legend-70-pelitins-raptor-roguedefinitely great anti the meta at the moment. Worth a spin.
  19. Geekette, from a professional view, can people like jez - whose remarkable and doomed attempt to become popular (his Twitter is an echo chamber with zero interaction) gives us a nice detailed insight into what I assume is a chunky minority of the working class slightly over achieving over eater in their late 40s - be "fixed" and remoulded? Do they find love or a good woman or have kids and become normal, of what? Bit like my imaginary grandad who won't buy Japanese.
