  1. I have tickets to see them in Birmingham in May. Realise that’s not going ahead but also sad it’s unlikely they’ll reschedule too ☹️
  2. Not a documentary as such but Last Chance U is great, particularly S1&2.
  3. Same here, maybe I was expecting too much after all the hype it received.
  4. DFWC is a good story and a quick watch. The two main internet sleuths did become irritating by the end of it though, particularly the guy.
  5. Last Chance U was fantastic early on but I gave up when they changed schools. Miss Wagner was a saint!
  6. Yes, another tick from me. Good, wholesome viewing. I want to live at 17 Cherry Tree Lane.
  7. I thought it was very poor with numerous plot holes and a hugely unsatisfactory ending. I did enjoy Bullock’s acting though.
  8. Yeah, can't see past Stoke at all for the title. Be surprised if they don't win it. Birmingham will be in for a tough ride if they can't get any players in and Monk won't hang around if they have a bad run. Villa will do well to finish mid-table, can't see them scoring enough goals. WBA will probably do better than I thought, frustratingly, but I can see Jones taking over from Moore before the season is out. Forest could go either way. Talk of them 'doing a Wolves' is premature - they don't have Nuno or Neves. Derby should be interesting under Lampard. Though they've taken the bait and signed a free scoring striker from Peterborough for big money. How many others down the years have they had that haven't cut the mustard at a higher level?! 'Boro will bore the pants off everyone with Pulis at the helm but will challenge the top 6. Swansea are making noises that this season will be a consolidation year but should be up there for me. Leeds will be fun to watch under Bielsa - either top 2 or 18th for them. I think he's had his day as a coach and his forward thinking ideas from ten years ago are the norm nowadays. Norwich - meh. Looking forward to it kicking off this weekend. Always a great watch, even more so when your club managed to get out of it the previous season.
  9. Anyone else having lag issues within FIFA 18 Seasons on PS4? Almost unplayable and gives me a headache after two games.
  10. Certainly good fun being a Wolves fan at the moment. Cant wait for the Villa game. I love the tea time kick offs - pre match round Chapel Ash, post match in Bohemian then curry at the Dilshad. Lovely stuff.
  11. Means very little at this stage of the season but a draw in this match then 6 points from us v Sheff U and Burton would see us top over the international break. I would definitely take 4 points from our next two fixtures, mind, making it a second 7 point haul two weeks running. 2-2 tomorrow and 1-3 v Burton.
  12. Oh, and Jota. Amazing that he plays for Wolves. Kid's going right to the top. Real Madrid top. Gets battered every game by the opponents but takes it all in his stride. Genuinely can't wait to see him and Costa in the same side.
  13. Fabulously entertaining match. Sort the set piece defending out and we're away. On another night we win that game 5-2. Cav, Doc, Vin and Jota were all excellent. As as for the ref, well. Didn't give us a thing all night. Nobody claimed for their penalty and the linesman, who had a better angle, signalled for a corner. On to Sat v Forest. Win there and it's still been a great week.
  14. I'll put myself forward as the resident Wolves fan - had a home and away season ticket for the last 15 years. Very much looking forward to this season under our new manager, Stale Solbakken, and a return to our spiritual home, the Championship. To be honest, after a few years of barely scoring any goals, biased refs, plastic fans in the home ends at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge etc and all the other rubbish the Premier League offers, a Tuesday night trip to Barnsley in February looks very appealing. Proper football, if you will. We've agreed a deal with Lillestrom for their promising Icelandic forward, Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson, and also signed Frank Nouble on a free. I'd love us to hang on to Matt Jarvis and Steven Fletcher but I can't see them being with us come August 18th. Even with losing these two though, we should still be up there challenging. Hopefully Stale can incorporate more of our ball playing players like Nenad Milijas into the side, instead of the cloggers like Dave Edwards that Mick McCarthy used to prefer. Can the resident Forest and Wednesday fans tell me their thoughts on Guedioura and Batth respectively, please? Heard good things about them on loan last season and I hope they'll be pushing for a first team spot down Molineux next season.
  15. Saturday Kitchen is perfect 'lying in bed on a Saturday morning' TV. I like James Martin, but his presenting skills leave a lot to be desired. Personally I'm a sucker for anything with Gary Rhodes in, although mainly his later work. Really enjoyed his 'Cookery Year' series (that turkey wellington ) and his shows in China and India.
