  1. Warpinator and winpinator worked great, thanks. It transfers at a much higher speed than WinSCP and seems more steady too.
  2. What method are people using to transfer files to the Steam Deck? I’m fine with smaller ones but bigger files (3gb+ approx) are causing issues. I’m using Batocera on the deck, transferring from a Windows 10 PC. What I’ve done: 1. WinSCP- works, but exceedingly slow. FileZilla is much the same. Takes over an hour for a larger PS2 game. The speed it hits is about 1.5MB/s maximum, less than half of what option 2 achieves 2. Set up a SSHFS transfer thing- Windows 10 sees the drive, transfers much quicker than WinSCP. However, any file over about 2.8gb it says it cant transfer as there isn’t enough room. This is incorrect as I’m moving to a 256gb SD and there’s plenty left. It’s almost as if it can’t move files bigger than approx 3gb? 3. Tried to plug the SD card into my computer, this doesn’t work as the PC wants to format the drive as it doesn’t like the way it’s formatted. According to Microsoft my 5 year old laptop cant run Windows 11 and thus the option for Linux formatted memory card being directly viewable isn’t an option. Is there another option that will work better? Thanks!
  3. That didn’t sound right and upon checking it isn’t. ‘Yes’ are when Utd played in the Champions League 22/23 21/22- yes 20/21- yes 19/20- 18/19- yes 17/18- yes 16/17- 15/16- yes 14/15- 13/14- yes I would also say they are one of the favourites for the Europa League though that will depend on who gets knocked out of the CL group stages.
  4. No, but this one does 10% off too: https://switchup.gg/en/ code is SWITCHUP Its the same company as the Nintendolife one, just a different homepage, all the sites are by Famehype. I used them for a £75 code and got it instantly.
  5. I sent mine in late last week with a drift problem and they got back to me with a £30 repair bill. They accept that the drift is there and will repair this for free. However, they have also found a 'cosmetic issue' with the casing and say they need to sort this too. When I sent it the only issue with the casing was a small scuff/ mark on it, and nothing else- it worked fine, just drifted. Whether the third party repair company are trying it on, whether they have mistaken my joycon with another, whether they have damaged it, who knows. In the process of escalating the complaint as I think it's a disgrace. A quick Google suggests I'm not the first this has happened to. The Man Utd Thread

Still on that one, haven’t been or directly gave them a penny. It’s more a resigned apathy these days, the boycott stance was an entirely fruitless, futile endeavour given protests are stopped by buying a player and all is rosy again. I think the only way they’ll leave is when they’re bought out by probably even worse people. Still, not buying a shirt or out else. Don’t really post much anywhere but still read here. Partly due to a bit of a massive change in jobs (work as an early years practitioner in a pre school room at nursery) means I physically can’t post during the day due to safeguarding , partly because I enjoy playing games and reading about them but am not really arsed writing.

    The Man Utd Thread

    This ain’t me, Guv.
  8. The firmware update was what broke it! The problem is you won't be able to download a new firmware either, the only way of getting a newer version on there if the problem persists would be a gamecard that has an update in firmware included. Do you at least get a game icon when downloading a demo, or is it black with a ? symbol? If you're getting the icon I'd persist with pressing continue when the error appears.
  9. I had the Switch download error 2123-1502 on two machines last week. I sorted it by following the advice on Nintendo’s site. To summarise I turned it fully off, back on and kept on hitting continue when the error appeared. After maybe 5 goes it worked on the first machine ( a lite) and only two goes on the second (original launch Switch). Initially the game download didn’t have an icon on the Home Screen, it was a black icon with a ?, when this appeared I turned off. Trying again the correct icon appeared and I just tried pressing continue. Once sorted the error hasn’t reappeared.
  10. How many since Ferguson and David Gill left? Since Woodward started playing Fantasy Football and buying players not because they’d fit a style or need but because they were marketable. Ed Woodward the investment banker, in charge not because of any previous football experience but because he was the banker at JP Morgan that brokered the deal to borrow all that money in Utds name. The mismanagement is monumentally poor with massive amounts wasted on ridiculous contracts. The theft of over a billion pounds in interest, dividends and repayments is scandalous. It was only possible because Utd were already the biggest and most profitable in the country before the leeches arrived. The Glazers have brought nothing but a financial burden, leeching money and splintering a fan base. With a 20 million dividend taken every season because... well, why not?
  11. I thought you said it was an elbow?
  12. Talking about this? He didn't even touch him.
  13. It's amazing just how little attention was paid to that elbow on the night. I'd say leading with an elbow, in a challenge where you have zero chance of winning the ball as he was nowhere near it, smashing the opposition in the head is at the very least a foul and penalty. https://streamable.com/qzn50t Personally I think it's a red as it's a deliberate attempt to 'leave one on him', the fact he doesn't look around after the incident is suspect. He has form for stamping on people heads, too.
  14. If Wolves win the Europa does that mean 5 English teams in the CL or that Chelsea miss out?
  15. So I was watching a video about the best 15 racing games on Switch: Does anybody know what game the thumbnail of the video is? The HUD doesn't seem to match any from the video. If the thumbnail doesn't show it's this:
  16. Unless you can get hold of a Brazilian pre-paid card you still won't be able to buy. Shops are assigned a rough region (Europe includes South Africa) so a UK resident can use their bank card on the Russian or South African store, but not the USA or Canadian store. A US resident would be able to buy from Mexico and other South American countries but not elsewhere. Pre paid vouchers are readily available for some places (US, Canada, Japan), but I think you'll struggle to find anything for Brazil.
  17. I'm on a PC. Haven't had a Mac since my old iMac G5 broke In terms of the injections, that is going to be insurmountable I fear. Does Boot Camp or Parralels open it? Converting your iso into the correct format is a stage that can't be sidestepped if you want to inject. The main reason I went for the injection method was it allows you to use the Gamepad for controls, something that isn't possible if you boot through vWii. Besides the inconvenience factor of not being able to load straight from the Wii U and the controller issue, nothing will stop you if you use the virtual wii. so rather than inject games you load from the memory card. One thing to remember is injection is limited to 300 games, a system limit that was present on 3DS too. If you were planning on having whole set of games then injection wouldn't be suitable anyway.
  18. Strange! Here is the file, the hosting site says it should remain for 14 days. I didn't upload the full package, just the one file the guide asks for. http://www.mediafire.com/file/gx0s7bf4vxd3n82/boot.elf/file
  19. It works fine for me? In the guide it links to this page: https://bootmii.org/download/ which loads and lets me download fine.
  20. Did mine over the weekend, I found this guide very useful: https://cheapergamer.co.uk/wii-u-hacking-guide/ Starts with how to hack the Wii U and moves onto injecting Gamecube, Wii, SNES, GBA and NES games. It's step by step with links to every download you need, bar the keys that are needed for some of the emulation... though it tells you the literal phrase to google to get those anyway. Doesn't remotely mention ROMS or where to get them, I've been converting my own discs so far, dug out the Wii for the Gamecube games. The main reason to inject the games means you can run everything from the same hard drive as standard Wii U downloads are stored. Without the injection method the two things are incompatible due to how the Wii U formats it's hard drive. I set it up and have been enjoying Chibi Robo immensely, it really is lovely. Next plan is to try the old memory cards and see if the saves are compatible. The only issue I've had so far is if I plug a USB pad in (so the Smash Bros adaptor to allow 'Cube pads), it black screens after the Wii logo. The workaround is loading the virtual wii and starting the games through Nintendon't, which works but means the file has to be on the SD card rather than the HDD.
  21. https://www.pcgamesupply.com/Nintendo-eShop/ Not cheap as such but it is virtually the exchange rate with no extra fee. They charge in £ on PayPal so no currency fee either. Use them regularly, usually have the code in seconds.
  22. Talk of research, Martin Edwards left in 2003 when he sold his shares and has held only an honorary position since. I'm guessing Guardiola didn't do any research either, seeing as they bid £70M for him a month or two ago and stopped when they were told it was £95M. Will the player improve the current defence? Yes, he's by far a better leader of the back line, brings the ball out and passes significantly better than the rest of the alternatives. This should free up the midfielders from dropping back to pick the ball up and increase the speed of play, the tempo and ability to play on the break. He's a fine header of the ball and will improve the defending of set pieces which were the cause of so many goals last time. The defence needs somebody who will come in and immediately settle, who will stabilize the unit. He also isn't injury prone Chuckle Brother Phil Jones, so that's worth half the fee alone. What happened the last time (Summer 2018) the club didn't buy the defenders required, instead stating they were too expensive? They shipped 54 goals in the league. It's already been a revelation to have a proper right back who isn't a converted winger. It's going to be nice having a proper centre back partnership with a player who'll command his line and lead. Not sure, I can't think of a leader or proper partnership since Rio and Vidic? Out of interest who should they have bought instead?
  23. Try this one: https://gameplay.tips/uploads/posts/2019-06/1561302350_2.png It labels hidden rooms as orange, I found it easier to find my final 0.3% this way.
  24. It's widely reported they've agreed a deal with Swansea to buy their winger, Daniel James. His father died earlier this week which apparently is the reason why it hasn't gone through as United are giving him space. They've been heavily linked with Sean Longstaff of Newcastle and that one seems more than the usual paper talk. Barcelona are reported as baulking at the demands of De Ligt's agent demands and Utd are trying to sign him. Personally I think it's the agent using our interest as a way of getting what he wants from Barcelona, but I think the interest of United is real. There's also the fact that he's the best available centre back around and every club in the world wants him so at best we're outsiders. If the situation drags on for ages and results in us getting nobody, like last year with Varane that was so obviously pie in the sky then that will be unacceptable, but I think it's right they try now as long as they have contingencies. On this front I'd be more confident if it wasn't the investment banker STILL in control of transfer negotiations.
  25. Certain PSP games aren't compatible with the Vita, you couldn't directly download to the machine. You used to be able to get around this and download the PSP games by downloading them on PS3 then transferring to Vita with content manager. I've just bought Gradius Collection PSP, downloaded it on the PS3 and tried to transfer to Vita. Only content manager doesn't see the game, so I can't copy. Is this a known issue brought about with a firmware update? Is there a workaround? It appears on lists as it should work, but these are old.
