  1. I'm watching it on p2p4u.net. I'm not liking the 433 much, they seem to be finding lots of space on the wings and Macheda and Hernandez seem wasted out wide.
  2. Interesting lineup, not much width: Kusz, Brown, Rio, Smalling, Raf, Gibson, Anderson, Park, Macheda, Owen, Hernandez subs: VDS, O'Shea, C.Evans, Eikrem, Bebe, Obertan, De Laet.
  3. Of the players you would expect to have played for the reserves De Laet, Gill, Obertan and Bebe were left out so they might be involved somewhere. I'd imagine the starting lineup for tomorrow would be --------------Kusz Raph---Brown---Smalling---Fabio Obertan---Anderson---Gibson---Park ---------Owen----Hernandez/Macheda

    The Bookies

I've set aside £1000 to bet on football this year which I'm splitting into 10 matches. Had my first bet a couple of weeks ago £75 on Blackburn to beat Man City @8/1 and £25 on the draw @3.5/1.
  5. It seems that it was just the Daily Mail that has it in for Bebe, he put in some good crosses into dangerous areas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaFPBQ9UVUE I'm a bit woried about the left wing, I have a feeling ferguson is just going to rotate Giggs and Park. Park has his uses (normally against the better sides) but against middling/poor teams he doesn't add enough going forward and I feel Giggs has more to offer from the middle. I'd like to see Obertan given a chance, he impressed me in preseason and seems to have a good understanding with evra everytime I've seen them play together.

  8. Wednesday or Friday is good for me.
  9. Valencia and Hernandez both played an International friendly (against each other) in Mexico so thats probably why they aren't on the bench. Dont Like Berbs upfront on his own but with Everton not playing a recognised striker we will probably need 5 in midfield. Cant see Giggs playing behind Berb as then Nani would be playing left and Fletcher right and we will really need Fletch in the middle.

    Arsenal

Well actually I'm a London United suporter but I did neg you just for the "People who support other teams are fucking idiots." part, I +ed Mars post because it was well written and passionate (even though there were some points I didn't agree with). Setting aside petty rivalries there's a lot I admire about Arsenal, like us you play attractive, attacking football and invest in youth and if there was any team other than united who I would want to win the league it would be you without hesitation. Until some Americans decided to use us as their own personal bank I could have written something
  13. You know its bad when the most entertaining part is a guy begging for money. Hopefully that will be the last time I ever play limit.
  14. It doesn't mean much though as he isn't taking anyones place, I'm pretty much resigned to him never playing for us again and even if he did I doubt he would be the same player.

It was me, I remember because you had a straight flush in one hand. I'm surprisingly bad beat free at the moment and even managed to inflict this on someone PokerStars Game #48661042328: Tournament #304686869, $0.25+$0.00 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level IX (300/600) - 2010/08/25 20:39:26 WET [2010/08/25 15:39:26 ET] Table '304686869 4' 9-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: YouKnwMyName (14138 in chips) is sitting out Seat 2: NumBeR.13.PS (10133 in chips) Seat 3: WHO DAT 1979 (3600 in chips) Seat 4: 13Moons (4573 in chips) Seat 5: acesup247365 (5169 in chips) Seat 6: lvtoplypoker (10040 in chips
  16. That's the sort of chance Berbatov would have missed towards the end of last season, hopefully a good sign. I'm liking how eager we are to get the ball back when we dont have it.
  17. Played live both yesterday and today. Yesterday I played again at the international, went out in 12/36. It's the third time I've played there and each time the standard of play has been atrocious. I didn't have a single pair, ace with a picture card and only one broadway hand (QJ). Today was the london poker meetups beer hand open which had a really great structure, 15000 starting stack and 25 minute blinds but I lasted less than 2 hours. I was trying to play a little looser and a bit trickier which probably cost me in 2 hands all at 100/200. The first one I raised with KQ and got 2 call
  18. Played the Internationals afternoon tournament again on Friday, managed to finish 7/33 which got me my buyin back. Was shortstacked from about an hour onwards but managed to make the final table with about 6bb, went all in first hand with T8 and was called by AT, turned a straight but the river paired my 8 to split the pot. Moved in again a couple of hands later with 64 and was called by AK flop T35 and turn was a 2 to double me up and a couple of hands later added again shoving over the top of the chip leaders raise with AQ, he folded. Didn't take long from then to get into the money and I
  19. Really enjoyed that well worth staying up for, some great goals. Scoreline was harsh but the damage was done early. Surprised that I liked the american commentary, what they lacked in knowledge (described Scholes as a defensive midfielder and said he was known for his interceptions) they made up for in excitement and their phrasing "Pass Denied". Super Exited to see what Hernandez can do this season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8L4-IwmTJk&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ISgIsX9yx4&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_qX5N6GH6Y&feat
  20. Great bit of play from Cleverly, I'd be surprised if he goes out on loan after that, just need Hernandez to score to make it a really great night.
  21. yep, were all over them, 2-0 macheda. Edit: should have been 3. I'm really excited to see what Obertan can do this season, if he can work on his final ball could be something special.
  22. Woo hoo 1-0 in the first minute, Macheda easy finish from a MLS mistake, team is VDS, Fabio, Evans, Brown, Rafael, Giggs, O'Shea, Fletcher, Nani, Obertan and Macheda. Started really brightly.

  24. Finished 2-1, we scored late on with a 40 yard shot, poor performance though and we were lucky not to lose by more. Means we're out of the milk cup and will have to play for the Dunlace trophy instead.
