  1. Been buying all mainline Pokémon games ever since Ruby & Sapphire , and while Sword & Shield was still alright imo, series fatigue was really setting in at that point. Then I completely skipped the Switch remake of Diamond & Pearl as it looked really low-budget, and offered nothing new. But I got back in (big time) with Legends, and if the new one continues on the path set by Legends, I think I will be back in for this one as well.
  2. Yeah, I've stated something similar about lots of series. I sometimes fear that many series are peaking at the moment: Elden Ring, Breath of the Wild, MK 8, Astral Chain/Bayonetta 3, Mario Odyssey, AC NH all feel like they will be impossibly hard to improve upon.
  3. I hope that new thread title is ironic. Either that or someone's very disappointed with it.
  4. It used to be: https://www.arpgmaker.com/threads/pokémon-scarlet-version.68755/
  5. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will feature an open world, the Pokémon Company has confirmed. Additionally, we have news about support for Pokémon Home. As far as a general overview, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are said to “take a new evolutionary step in the Pokémon main series.” Players will be able to “explore an open world where various towns with no borders blend seamlessly into the wilderness.” Similar to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, creatures are out and about everywhere – be it the skies, in the sea, and on the streets. As one of the main characters, trainers will jump into the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to begin their adventure, where they will have a different outfit depending on which game they are playing. Trainers will then choose either Sprigatito, the grass cat pokémon, Fuecoco, the fire croc pokémon, or Quaxly, the duckling pokémon to be their first partner pokémon before setting off on their journey. Finally, as for Pokémon Home compatibility in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, it’ll be possible to link the games to Pokémon Home. For those that are unaware, Home lets users maintain their entire pokémon collection in one place. Players will be able to have pokémon from other regions adventure alongside them in Scarlet and Violet. >> Official website
  6. Looks and plays brilliantly on my bog-standard PS4. Loading times and graphics seem to be on par with Sekiro. No complaints from me. Something something fps...
  7. Even though both Wild Guns Reloaded and The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors were as good as one could expect of a remake, Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is the one I'm looking forward to the most. Physical edition seems to be only £25 to boot. Take that Babylon's Fall.
  8. Just spent fifteen minutes admiring the scenery after first stepping into Limgrave. Amazing view up ahead. And a fearsome foe patrolling the woods which I'm not too keen on meeting just yet.
  9. I did look for it, but this thread has become too big to find something quickly.
  10. How's that for recognition of your hard work? Vaatividya made the official European tutor of Elden Ring fighting techniques:
  11. Alright, finally some time to sit down and try Eld- FOUL 10-MINUTE DOWNLOAD!
  12. Installed the demo. Wanted to play the demo, but needed to fill out several forms to create an online account on SE's servers. Deleted the demo. God help us if this is the future of gaming.
  13. New trailer: Good luck getting any sales for a £60 sub-par Souls-like game that'll ask for more payment down the line, and die on its arse eventually, Platinum. What with Elden Ring out and all. You used to be one of my favourite developers, but after Sol Cresta and now this, it seems you've become nothing more than a greedy husk of a developer once driven by creativity now dictated by shareholders and focus group testing, on its way out. Please don't fuck up Bayonetta 3 on your way to the door. Kthxbye.
  14. Prisoner class looks suspiciously like imprisoned Griffith from Berserk. EDIT: seems like I'm not the only one who's noticed that. The bloody wolf class seems to have been replaced by the vagabond class.
  15. Ghostwire Tokyo - Studio Spotlight: Edgetm seems to be getting on the hype train for this as well, as it's their cover story of the month:
  16. But that's already the Summer! Maybe the physical release will be later than the digital.
  17. And Elden Ring started development as a PS4 title, so bar the loading times, I should be fine. Maybe install a SSD to speed things up a bit, and at least it gives me time to read the lore in item descriptions.
  18. Yeah, I don't expect too much from this, but I will get it purely because of the nostalgia for the PSX original.
