  1. And now Michael Jackson, I mean Miracle Johnson, is my new real estate advisor?! I love it when games are over the top like this
  2. I played and enjoyed both. I actually started watching the anime because of my fond memories of the Dreamcast game. But imo, All Star Battle does a far better job of bringing the madness of the series to an arcade beat'em-up.
  3. New trailer: So far, six (of the ten) new characters have been revealed for the remaster: Robert E.O. Speedwagon, Mariah, Pet Shop, Diego Brando, Trish Una and Prosciutto. The release date seems to be September 2, 2022. A demo should be hitting consoles soon as well.
  4. I assume "he left his sticky fingerprints all over his flashlight" wasn't intentional...
  5. Ahh... They needed to visit my kid's island instead of the other way round basically. Cheers!
  6. To be fair, I haven't had a single issue gone missing since January through magazinesdirect. They take about 3-4 weeks to arrive though. But there was a time not so long ago, when not a single issue arrived for months on end.
  7. Quick question here: My kid visited a friend's island through local wireless, yet they can't add that player because that player doesn't have the friends app yet. How come they don't have the friends app after 200 hrs of play?
  8. Vaatividya calling Malenia one of the hardest bosses in From history makes me feel less guilty about the summon.
  9. I didn't mean this is supposed to be a cheap MH surrogate, but more like a stepping stone intended to get more casual gamers interested into hunting big monsters.
  10. No Cadillacs either... Seriously though, this looks like a MH game for the masses. What with emphasis on squad based combat straight out of TF; huge monsters that have been replaced by vanilla dinosaurs to make it more accessible for everyone and their gran, as opposed to the more outlandish designs in the MH series. Combat seems to be a lot less complex as well. But all-out action seems to be the focus of the game, and from the trailer I'd say they might be doing more than a good job.
  11. The year is 2040... Sudden dinosaur outbreaks have engulfed the globe in a crisis that threatens humanity's very existence. Yet all hope is not lost. The corporation Aibius has developed a hyper-advanced AI called Leviathan that can predict the location of future outbreaks. This technology, along with Aibius's revolutionary powered suits, or exosuits, gives humanity a fighting chance to stem the tide of the saurian swarms. Exosuit pilots, otherwise known as exofighters, are in high demand. Take the exofighter aptitude test and join the ranks of Aibius's heroic pilots in their fight to stave off the extinction of the human race. Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game that pits humanity's cutting-edge exosuit technology against history's most ferocious beasts! Exosuits are grouped into different roles, and players will pilot these exosuits to hold firm against overwhelming dinosaur swarms in online-only, team-based action game modes. Dino Survival, the main game mode, sees two teams of five players compete in a variety of PvE and PvP missions. Players will be transported to the scene of the latest dinosaur outbreak and follow Leviathan's guidance to complete objectives. The team that completes the mission first will emerge victorious. Whether players are engaging the other team directly, or fighting alongside them against a common enemy, the aim is to accomplish objectives as quickly as possible. Missions vary depending on player skill and other factors, meaning no two matches will unfold the same way. Cripes; how did I miss this one? Looks really great! Being directed by a guy heavily involved in MH Generations should make for one sweet action game. I wonder how smooth it'll run on last-gen consoles though. Expected some time next year.
  12. "I'm the shooreh pippi king!" should've been an achievement for completing that particular sub-story. And clearly Yakuza 0 >>> Yakuza Kiwami. And to think that Shimano fight in Kiwami almost put me off the series completely. Gonna need lots of kulipaas to earn my forgiveness.
  13. Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 trailer: July 28th, Gunvolt fans
  14. Cheers! Although thinking about it, I cannot remember that I made files on my PC to transfer my data from one 3DS to another. Is it possible to simply use the built-in transfer tool and select "transfer all data" to move your data between 3DS's without losing your photos and street passes?
  15. Thankfully it doesn't seem the case: Also, @deKay, would it be possible to post a link to your 3DS data transfer guide again? I remember using it back in the day, and it worked without any problems
  16. One of the best eShop titles for the system. A shame they're ending the eShop soon, as I assume that also implies no more transferring your data between systems If your 3DS breaks down after that, a new 3DS will only play your games without updates or DLC.
  17. I'd say kids enjoying a Yakuza game would be a big tell that it is.
  18. This is getting a DLC expansion soon! Furi - Onnamusha:
  19. I'm looking forward to Pocky & Rocky Reshrined, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, Advance Wars: Re-Boot Camp and Bayonetta 3. And River City Girls 2, Live A Live and Klonoa, but those three aren't exactly big releases.
  20. Few more fights and the combat is so much better in this. I really enjoy it here, while in Yakuza Kiwami it can feel like a chore. A shame they didn't simply transfer it to Kiwami. On paper it looks the same, but Rush for instance feels a lot smoother in Zero than it does in Kiwami.
  21. Because of peer pressure I eventually started playing Yakuza Zero then, and it does seem a lot better - even from the first hours one can already tell. "Woh, breakin’ the law! Breakin’ the world!" Already stuck in my head.
  22. Tengo Project's remakes truly are in a league of their own. The absolutely perfect balance of staying true to the source material and adding just enough new features to make the game enjoyable decades after its original release. Can't wait to see what they do next.
