Well thats my pet hate, when you watch your team mates charge off to certain death, 30seconds into the game the enemy had a UAV and an airstrike with their heli on the way! I dont play objective games as much as they dont suit my more cautious style of play....

I see your point tim, but surely the advantage for the other team is that you might have been about to get a heli and the guy stopped you ? The other day we were playing HQ and my team was just about to destory the HQ, so I ran off and waited at a main junction on the other side of the map, the enemy team respawned and ran past me, as the last guy went by I opened and killed nearly all of them, our team went on to capture the next HQ. Afterwards though, man the abuse I got for being a camper! Surely thats just tactics ?

It makes me laugh when people accuse you of camping, in a military combat sim that is complete with claymores, sniper rifles , camo suits, and targets to attack and defend in many situations. Surely its defending ? Or being sneaky ? Why would you run round like a loon in the open when theres 10 guys out there with automatic weapons trying to kill you ? I just don't understand the problem with it (except that its annoying when you die), after all genuine campers are easy to kill because they usually go back to the same spot. Whats the Rllmuk forum standpoint on camping? I tend to mix it up when I play, course I have to say that, I dont want to get a black mark against my name now do I

I found that the RPD with an ACOG and stopping power is actually pretty good. But on my m60 its just useless, and as my M60 is gold I have to use it for the bling :/

I knew I should have said how sick I was at this game when i posted! On that subject is there a stats site for COD4 like there is in halo, I`d quite like to peruse those while I`m at work...

I dont understand that, how can a better scope make your gun LESS accurate ?! Makes it impossible to hit anything with the m60

I dunno a good sniper can already be pretty annoying in this game.... making it more accurate could push it over the edge. Especially as they seem to work pretty well firing from the hip up close!

Cheers for that, just read the patch notes, quick mute! What a godsend! Regarding the hit damage multipliers, thats really not what I expected! What a wierd system, still good to know you can shoot people in the toe for full damage.

Hiya, I've played COD4 with a couple of you guys before courtesy of my mate whos a member here (shotgun ownage on Bog!). Thought I'd sign up here to talk cod(4) sh*t and maybe find some more decent people to play with, theres only so many games you can play with tards before you start losing the will to live...... So here I am, course as I`m a rllmuk forum newb I`m probably going about this all wrong, but I couldnt see a specific area for new members to post. Gamer tag: Strategos 07 (360 version only). Rank 55 (no prestige) Hmmm while I`m here might as well ask a couple of questions that have been bugging me (found the post on weapon stats which answered alot of them, great post). 1: If you have bad rep of say 10% does that mean 10% of ALL players you have played had chosen to avoid you ?! 2: Does anyone know when the next patch for the game is due (xbox 360 version). 3: What are the damage multipliers for various locations on the body (1.5 for head i read in another post , any more ?).
