Back in the warm busom of rllmuk. Fending off thread zombies and chronic back pain. I haunted the Wanted folder and wait until people ask for the stuff I have before I send it them. Why? Maybe I'm too scared to put all my stuff onto Trading folder? Gradual thing? Hmm.

  1. Not been on here in a while, really happy that my new Windows Phone is helping me in the good fight of Gamerscore acquiring.
  2. I'm not a fan. Does that make me a bad person? I play these Lego games all the time and get suckered into the glitches and bugs. This one is no exception.
  3. Me too, I think it's unavoidable though given that the format of the show has changed into Sugar looking for a business partner.
  4. The economy's fucked, the planet is tearing itself apart with tornadoes and there's going to be a new series of Glee soon. The world needs a new Muppets movie.
  5. Yeah, kind of sad that when I do the smart bomb move and point both hands to the heavens, the camera moves instinctively up and it feels like I'm missing out on what's going on
  6. Still playing this. It's like Fallout 3 all over again... if I didn't have a wife, I'd happy play hours of this and forget the simple things in life like food.
  7. Grabbed this today, absolutely bloody love it. It kind of justifies my Kinect purchase, though also it's great to get back into the Rez mindset. It's actually a Kinect game which not only do I feel most ocnnected with, but also I wrestle the least with. It took me a bit of time to realise I should only use one arm for tracer fire instead of two (doh!). Actually, the fact I get hot and sweaty (sorry) while playing it makes it feel even more like a euphoric nightclub experience. The purple tracer definitely adds a layer to it which Rez probably lacked. Interesting to see how it plays with controller.
  8. Thank you, sir! Glad you like it! We really want to get cracking on a second book, it'll be even more vast in scope and awesomeness. As an aside (aside) - looks like the Atomhawk bunch may be signing our book at GameHorizon. Yikes.
  9. Cheers! I animated some of the character endings too Really want us to investigate the toy figure industry, would be cool for some of our designs to be made into plastic reality. Two words sadly - too busy
  10. I recently got my hands on a Kinect and wanted to fart about with the Fun Labs. Didn't realise they came with achievements, honest guv.
  11. I managed to get my hands on a 3DS for the first time last weekend when I was poncing about Currys. It was quite exciting - at last! A chance to see what all the fuss what about. Lo! The 3D did shine through and melted my brain as I stared in wonder at the sight of cute puppies and cats frolicking about together. It only took a minute but I started to get a pretty crummy headache in my brainspace. I put down the unit and realised that I was probably right to resist the charms of all that advertising. 3DS then. Not for me.
  12. Always had a sneaky suspicion that he was a cheating type. He won't cheat on cars though. Nope.
  13. We've just announced a swanky competition too in association with Wacom and 3dTotal. There's some pretty swish Wacom tablets on offer as well as other lovely prizes. Go to that link now and see how you can take part!
  14. 1999 was the thunderstorm for us - we went before in 1997 and really enjoyed it. I think the best thing about the '97 trip was rubbing shoulders with representatives from the major animation companies in swanky lounges. Ah, memorrriieeeees. Funny thing is that thanks to me not getting any animation-based work in 2001, I ended up being a games developer. I still sometimes look back and think what could have been.
  15. The book is available to pre-order from 3DTotal with the offer of a free (free!) t-shirt. You can check out a virtual preview of the book here. We've got advance copies in the studio - it's pretty surreal to see it finally in the flesh and a tangible thing. You won't be disappointed - excellent print quality and the shiniest of slipcases. I think we're all pretty stoked, brilliant way to end the week
