He’s a great example of a player being better than the sum of his parts. To me he always felt like the type of player you’d always rather was on your side than against you, and mentally unflappable.Plus it’s very hard to think of another standout. Zabaleta? Maybe even Walker?
I see what you are saying.
There is strangely no standout right back but id probably say Zabaleta, Dixon or Walker.
Definitely not Glen Johnson!

I'm just trying to find a way of getting shot of Neville as I refuse to believe he's the best right back and that AI is an idiot.
He was a competent right back in a very good team. Man Utd won the league so often because of their team collectiveness rather than having the best XI out there.

It’s probably down to these actors going to expensive private schools. Like 90% of UK actors under 50 in Hollywood productions.Ah right, it's pretty fucking annoying. He sounded like the lad from Lockwood.

Anyone given Peter Pan and Wendy a go? Seems to be getting hilariously low scores.
Watched it on Tuesday with my 6 year old. It was reasonable enough, Jude Law was decent, the lad that played Peter Pan had one of those "I'm from no where" English accents though, which seems to happen quite a lot these days.

Just watched the whole series this afternoon and thought it was good Saturday afternoon nonsense!
Felt a bit try-hard to start with but by the end I was invested in the story. Quite a lot of characters in it though doing unlikeable things, incoming Jen and the Clock guy (can't remember his name now).
Will look forward to season 2.

Will that be the same for the men's aswell?

I was expecting him to go into a coaching role. He's been bloody great and when we signed him I didn't think he'd be here more than a couple of seasons.

Much like other LDF posts
Ah yes, LDF posts, how dare supporters say anything to defend their team against the yawn-fest of LiVARpool and such other hilarious wit in this thread.😴
LIverpool up to 5th now, ahead of your absolute joke of a team. It's not been a good season at all but it's a marathon not a sprint after all.

Wow, just seen Skipp's challenge on Diaz! You seriously saying VAR didn't look at that at all? Could have been a leg breaker.

As soon as we equalised i said to my other half we would let one in as its Anfield but fucks sake what a stupid way to lose a game.
As I said int he Spurs game tho sometimes the performance is bigger than the result so pleased we didnt fold and take a battering. Its a funny old game, you go 3-0 down so assume the worst and then are gutted to lose 4-3 - I guess as Liverpool are genuinely terrible this season it hurts a little more.
It's funny, in your own thread you don't feel the need to put that little dig on the end🤔

Sounds like a crazy game!
Richarlison booked for excessive celebrating! 🤣

Wow, 3-0!

Saw a bit of the game last night and that Gakpo goal was a beauty, along with West Ham's goal to be fair. Having Jota back has really spiced up our forward line, he's such an intelligent player who is always ducking and weaving in-between the defenders.
I have a feeling we will nick 5th. Not great, no champions league and Thursday football again but to be totally frank, that will be an achievement from where we have been this season.

Well anything other than a handsome win for your lot and you will be getting the yellow and green scarves out mate!
I'm going to leave it at this but I can see exactly why @Gabzy thought you were "chatting shit". It certainly doesn't come across as what you have said in your first explanation but does come across as you and @MikeBeaver doing "bants".
1-0 win to Spurs coming up!

Yeah, I definitely know what you mean.
Apparently his other film "Bait" is a lot less narratively ambiguous and much more instantly satisfying. I haven't gotten round to watching that one yet.Yep, I've been told that is really good.

Brighton are a great side, dominated this game but lack a cutting edge. They look tired now though so I expect Utd to win this 0-1.

Fair enough. I did sit down expecting a
horror, I certainly didn't expect what I got. It felt like a someone showing an example of what they are capable of as a director rather than an actual film.
