Because it's a 3rd person mode. It's not a proper 3rd person mode if something you do the majority of the time isn't in 3rd person!
-
Have they changed it since the beta? I was dropping people with as little as 2 or 3 bullets then.
-
already bought it and played the campaign, so I ain’t getting a refund from Microsoft
-
No it isn't. That's an option, however the last few COD games you could turn it off in game for all normal modes except big team battle and Warzone. It was also the same on the beta for this. You could turn it off in game for the normal modes, but it wouldn't let you play invasion with it off. Battlefield tried the whole "Xbox forces it at a system level" BS on launch. They quickly added the turn off cross play toggle in an update not long later.

Rumour has it that they have removed the ability to turn off crossplay on the Xbox version. Anyone who is able to play today able to check please?

Anyone got Wii working well on Emudeck? I want to play Ghost Squad & HOTD etc using the touch pad as the pointer, but I just can't get it all to work right. Either the buttond work and the touchpad doesn't or the touch pad works and the buttons don't. I can't figure out the best way to set it up. -

I'll try. When I first attempted it every time I tried to boot the game it just black screened and dropped back to ES. Assuming I was missing a bios or something, but it was late and I haven't gone back to it. -

Emudeck is brilliant, especially with V2. I use it all the time. Every ROM / ISO / Config was downloaded or managed in Desktop mode with the on screen keyboard and touch screen. It's easy enough to get running. I've got mine setup so Xbox, PS2, Gamecube and Dreamcast all show up on the gaming mode library as individual games. Anything older doesn't and just shows within EmulationStation. -
Agreed. I had a fucked respawn that made me have to restart the whole level: Nothing I could do to avoid it. Video here, nothing spoilery but will hide just in case.

Looks like they have released a new tune in the last week with Freddie Mercury.

you can get wee skins and grips that go over them to make them less slippy but still support the capacitive touch pads that is on each one -

I don’t know if it has a launcher, but if it’s just an exe you can still install. I’ve been using lutris to get Windows games running. Open RCT & Virtua Cop etc -

Agreed. We watched this last night expecting it to be a bog standard forgettable action film. You know the ones you enjoy while watching but don't mind missing bits or talking over. It was fantastic. Very funny, some fantastic writing. The characters were great. Very much enjoyed it.

I don't think the official dock will work with my system as I have the JSAUX case on it. That adds around 4mm along the top around the power buttons / port etc. ILooking at the clearence on connection for the dock it's pretty close. -

I don't have a desktop PC. I can drop the Deck into a dock and I've got a pretty competent one that I can do my job from should I need to.
