I know I am biased but that has to be the clearest red card in a while. how you can stop, step back and swing your elbow at a player and not get sent off is absolutely ridiculous.

He said anyone except Klopp and Guardiola. Of course they can, why not? Conte wanted it, Pochettino and Ten Hag are interested, that's 3 top coaches already. Tuchel would take it if sacked. The only ones who won't are those not interested in the premier league, moving to England like Zidane and Simeone. No top manager who has confidence in his abilities is thinking the job is beyond them, they'll be financially backed and there's been enough distance since Ferguson now, to get United back to winning is massively appealing.
It was always apparently Guardiola's dream to experience Man United and managing Brazil. If United pursued him, he would have taken it. Same with Klopp. Also Mourinho apparently cried when he was overlooked and they hired Moyes. The history of the club isn't lost on managers, who if are paid highly enough will take almost anything anyway.
Alright there scholesy, calm down...

It's not like no Chelsea fans can go, I believe that anyone that brought tickets before the sanctions where put in place can still go. its just that since the sanctions new sales can't be made, same as there last home game.
Sporting integrity though. I mean fucking talk about lack of self awareness. They wonder why people hate them.

QuoteWe are aware of Chelsea's request to have Saturday's Emirates FA Cup sixth round tie played behind closed doors and find their suggestion both bizarre and without any merit whatsoever.
All concerned are well aware of the reasons Chelsea have been sanctioned and that this has nothing to do with Middlesbrough Football Club.
To suggest as result that MFC and our fans should be penalised is not only grossly unfair but without any foundation.
Given the reasons for these sanctions, for Chelsea to seek to invoke sporting "integrity" as reason for the game being played behind closed doors is ironic in the extreme.
We currently await formal notification from the FA of the next steps but rest assured MFC will resist Chelsea's actions in the strongest terms.

If you pushed a keeper over as he tried to distribute the ball you would probably get a yellow card. The closer analogy would be if you pushed a keeper as he was taking a goal kick, the first Gabi foul the ball wasn't in play, and it also caused a foul throw and as a.) it was a foul throw and b.) the ball wasn't in play. You can't play advantage...

Technically the ref has had a blinder here, punished Arsenal appropriately, kept the game flowing for Wolves then given them a player advantage that they failed to capitalise on after foul play from their opponent.
Now lets see everything judged at this level and consistently.
That isn't right though, I like Dale but it clearly was a foul throw.
and you can't play advantage if the ball is "dead". its semantics I know but all the people going letter of the law. the point is he jumped to throw it over martinelli.

The ref has been shocking as well his given Spurs every possible decision he can.

Burnley are such a shitty team, time wasted from the like the 10th minute saying that thow the ref only added on 4 minutes is a joke(not sure we would have scored however). they should have had two players sent off in the opening 20 minutes but that would have probably made it harder. I'll be interested to see Dyche comments on the diving and time wasting from his team...
Think this game highlights our need for a striker that can play as a target man we can aim for when we can't work the spaces.
Hope they get relegated.

So there an interesting post from theatheletic regarding Liverpool's postponement of the first round of the carabao cup.
Reports are also that Liverpool submitted their request for postponement before the results of the second round of tests returned.
All Seems perfectly above board...

And in all this no one is talking about the Dele dive.
Strange to see how VAR looked at that one but not the Kane one... Well I say strange not really that strange as the refs are fucking dire.
