You will do it, and the game really opens up after that. I breezed to the second boss straight away (haven't beat him yet but got close). For Phrike, i had a health vial and an Astronaut, i wouldnt have done it without them> Thankfully after you beat Phrike, you dont need to beat him again to get back to the second level :)

Oh, and if you haven't already, set the auto aim to high, reticule to the biggest setting, and auto run to on. Helped me massively.

As it tuned out I got the Astronaught on my run last night which helped me get Prike down to his last bar.  I also set auto aim to high but will cretainly change the other settings and auto run sounds like a game changer!

Will give it another try tonight.

This is frankly a great slut game. You'll have fun with it, feel dirty, jizz in its face and maybe never go back.

Which is clearly a shame as they've put a load of effort into trying to make it excellent fun. You probably won't forget it either.

Possibly the best review I have seen on Rllmuk.

I finally beat Phrike last night ( i bought it a launch, gave up about a dozen times then finally persevered enough from Friday). I think im almost at the second boss already. You dont half get useful items straight after beating phrike, i could have been doing with them on the opening biome. It seems like a bit of a high ceiling just to get to access the rest of the game. I can see it putting a lot of players off. Great game though.

This makes me happy as I still haven't beaten Phrike and whilst I love what I have seen of the game cannot understand the praise it gets.  Time to give it another go!

Wondering about headphones for this. I hear it'll include a pair of in-ears, take it they'll be wired? I'm all about the less wires the better and use my Quest with some Sony XM3s via BT. Work ok and notice very little if any lag.

Anyway, would something like the Pulse 3D be a good buy for this, take it they'll have no problems working, I imagine anyway.

So, Pulse 3D + PSVR 2, yay or nay?

Yay. I use them with my oculus as well and they are great.

Maybe I should give this another go, as I was a bit disappointed in it at launch after loving the ingenuity of What The Golf. I just didn’t feel that it was as slick as the earlier game, or that the ideas were as good.

Its not slick on Quest but it does seem good fun so far for a quick blast

  6. Doesn't help when in some arcades you need to put your bank card in a machine to get a plastic top up card to then use to pay for the games!.

Llandudno pier have converted all their machines (including Sega Rally!) to only accept these massive waste of plastic cards!

     🤬

In the end I could not be bothered so just walked out whereas if they took cash I would have spent a few quid.

Holy fuck at Murray's determination in breaking Kokkinakis at 0-2 in the third set. He must have faced three or four net smashes in a row and still somehow returned every one, then lobbed to return Kokkinakis to the baseline from which he netted.

just seen this - insane tennis.

I bought this in the sale with a view to saving it for PSVR. I’m now out of Castle Dinitrescu and into the house of creepiness that is House Beneviento. Great game.

    Just finished that section and....

    Spoiler

It has to be a nod to PT?

Wow, that is quite the graphical downgrade to squeeze it on the Quest 2 😳

It was surely going to have to be. A PC version would have been the better option. Not like Codies haven't done it before ..
