There was a VR mod released for Doom3 on Quest just before Christmas which is excellent. Interesting to see that there is an official version coming to PSVR. Probably end up a lot more expensive than the £3 I paid for the Quest version I'd guess.

Just fired this up for £3 and I can confirm it is bloody brilliant.

  2. I have a beta invite to the next version of the OS if anyone wants it.

    • On the game session details screen, you can now use the Request to Join button to ask the session leader to join their game session. The session leader can then send you an invite to join the game session.

Do I need to buy lots of cars and upgrades to compete online, or does the host control these things? (Sorry for the noob questions, I'm liking this game a lot! My 8 year old also gave it a spin at the weekend and really loved how fucked up his car could get.)

No you dont - you can get loan cars from each class that are more than good enough to get you going.  Obviously the more cars you buy / win in single player mode the better and these can be upgraded whereas loan cars can't.  I would recommend tournament mode as this has some of the best cars in the game are available with the Fame points earned from these and it has its own Store. Do the AI cars suffer handling difficulties on Realistic too? What about on other damage settings?

Yup - the AI tends to make most races pretty hilarious.   Try Tribend Wild Circuit with some bots.  They can't seem to take the chicane for some reason leading to all sorts of fun.

Dont miss out playing this online though - that is where the real laughs are.

"Another Magazine Hunt: I tried to buy this digital, but it appears that option's not available going back this far. Do any of y'all have Retro Gamer issue 161? There's a few interview pages, if someone could snap a few photos, I'd appreciate it. DM's are open!"

The guy runs these amazing stories about Pokemon and even behind the scenes regarding it.

Sorry again to hi-jack but fingers crossed someone can help him out.

Seems the tweet is no longer there - is it still required? If so let me know.
