The comparison isn't completely fair as the armour in WoW obviously improves your look in game as you progress but you can see why some people might be initially a little disappointed.

Can someone take loads of pictures of the character creation screen, with lots of variations as I'm finding it very difficult to view the range of races/job combinations which is making it diffcult for me to decide what I want to be (they ideally have the web based character creator from FFXI). Ideally human based variations please in both sexes.

(or is it possible to download the beta, without an ccount and play with the character creator?)

I just joined some random group who were shouting for members in IF. Didnt have a clue what was going on. It's a great area for loot, and the mobs drop some coin things that you can use in a sort of slot machine further down. I won rubbish prizes, but some of the others got nice goodies.


Funniest part was when shoen threw a strop near the exit and left the party. He stormed off onto the lift plunger thing, not sure what happened next but he fell down the shaft and died seconds later :D
