e-Learning with the GameBoy Advance

A project to try and expand the way we think about the devices we have in our homes already. Being developed as a final year project for my Multimedia Computing Degree at the University of Plymouth, I hope to deliver the potential for a new market, specifically software to help teaching and learning in and out of the primary school classroom.

Currently aimed at producing a lesson plan for a Key Stage 2 field trip to a farm.

Any comments would be useful, especially from any games companies out there, or teachers / schools.

(New content is going up every so often, obviously. There should be alot more soon, with more regular updates, since the submission date is rapidly approaching. I already have another ROM to upload that I got finished this morning for example...)

I believe there's been a few things like this already, in Japan. The EZ-Talk carts teach the player how to speak English.

Anyone else got any comments? Got to hand it in next Friday.
Just working on a few last ROMs to upload, but they are very simple.

Hopefully I can start making a nice little game over the summer though with what I have learnt.
